I think we cant compare landed vs highrise, we got more cases for highrise than landed.. So far I didn't heard any from big developer, or this is normal case for Tropicana??

Now placed booking for both 257 domus and dahlia. Both also semi d but pricing very different. But I still cannot decide which one to let go.

Location wise I would vote for Domus cause of the mall.

Dahlia does have a clunky house across the street and tenby next door. But that's not too far from 257 as well.

Main gripe would be the built up size and price. Dahlia much more usable space compared to domus for me. Of I were to choose a 257 unit I would go for Lighthouse corner unit. That house to much potential for renovation...

Comparing just by the floor plans.
Both have open floor plans.
I prefer the Dalia's plan since it has a straight line of sight from the dry kitchen to the living room. (To a certain extent it is true for Dahlia's wet kitchen also) e.g. ease of cooking while watching tv, or looking after small kids while in the kitchen.
Another thing is Dahlia's build-up width at 10445mm (34.3ft) will feel and look much more spacious than Domus's width.

Good luck with your selection.

Dahlia builtup is also around 20~25% bigger then Domus.

Domus is in a mixed development area sharing spaces with terraces etc. Dahlia is all Semi D / Bungalow.

Ony thing going for Domus is the mall nextdoor.

Not everyone like to live close to a mall.
If mall is not successful in the future => will be living next to a ghost mall. The old and if abandoned mall can be an eyesore. e.g. https://www.malaysiantalk.com/Complaints/ab...unt-for-addicts
If mall is successful => noise pollution, traffic congestion at main neighbourhood entry/exit road sweat.gif

Been waiting for this for so long.

Good thing it is finally here... but the location of the school is a bit too close to the high voltage cable/tower for my liking... will have to see the actual school/distance.

Small? I see two blocks of 2-3 storeys (including ground floors). I guess it is a good start.
At least they are building the chinese school.
Smaller school might not be a bad thing e.g. better teacher - students interactions etc
Maybe the developers here anticipate some of the richer parents in this area may send their kids directly to both the international schools (Tenby and Oasis) in this area.
Or perhaps, they anticipate some parents may send their kids to SRJKC Chung Hua at Kota Kemuning or the Chinese Taipei school at Kota Kemuning. Both are 10-15 mins drive away only.

By the way, there is another Chinese International school is being built at Bandar Rimbayu.

Sau Seng Lum International school . This school is catering for Special need kids.

Good thing is there are a few options for parents to choose from.

Chinese schools no issue.

Once more students gets in, parents will donate and they will build a new block if required. Just like the Chung Hwa in KK and their new 6~7 stories block...
