have you tried returning the mspd to the shop?
how about inserting the card into your memory card reader?is it unreadable?

im using a fake myself(4gb) so far so good.
plus points:
cheaper
works similiar to an ori mspd

minus points:
lags some games
not long warranty(up to the shop,i think)

bring the card back to the shop where you bought your psp from.tell them your problem, see what they say.
the best you can hope for is they exchange it for another MSPD-not a different memory card

Shit! You serious? RM250 only?? Why did I even bother checking Sony Style....they set the price there RM399 doh.gif
How long does the promotion last? or how do we know if its fake...
cannot warranty ka? Or is it fake?
*
LOL of course Sony Style are selling for a "Premium" price because they are the official dealers thats their "Style". Not sure how long it lasted but I can confirm you can get a 4GB SanDisk 4GB PRO Duo for below 300. Also its not fake I can confirm its 100% genuine stick because it got the warranty assurance sticker by "Photo Marketng Sdn Bhd" which is the official distributor for SanDisk products here added I even went to the offical SanDsik retailer located in LYP upper floor and yes you can claim warranty from them directly.

You only have 2 options...like Monster Hunter G say - Sandisk...with 5 years warranty I think. Or the wayyyyy overpriced Sony for RM399 whistling.gif

btw, I have another question...if the buttons sink or isn't working well on our PSP...can this be repaired? Sink as in...play so long or rough and machine is a bit old etc

Added on August 22, 2007, 1:28 amuh oh...just now playing Initial D a bit...suddenly game lag. Hope mem card got no problems sweat.gif

you could try removing 2GB mem stick from the package and go for the Sandisk 4GB one whistling.gif The mem stick they provide only got 1 week warranty and if you don't take care of it well.... sweat.gif

I got my pack from there just last week and I switched the playgear pocket with a zip pouch. Preferred that to the hard brick laugh.gif

what I don't like about PSP's music is that there aren't many equalizers to select from. Only 4-5 and all weird eqs...

KickStart gives you the power to launch homebrew on your PSP for $60!

Yes that's right folks, KickStart gives you the power to launch homebrew on your PSP and even install custom firmwares or downgraders. You don't even need to indulge in any soldering to install the KickStart and there is no need to open the PSP. OK, enough of the SARCASM (as we all know, you don't need a 'product' to perform the features of the 'KickStart'). In all seriousness, we received a press release from a Chinese company who producing something known as the 'Kickstart', while there is no actual indication of what the product is, there is absolutely no Need for it in any case and it is most likely just a Memory Stick with homebrew files on it. Any other ideas as to what this magical product could be? Perhaps a compact disc, or even a set of instructions...

Here is the e-mail we received...

Please see our offer for a hot new product for the PSP accessory market.
This new one lets homebrew and custom sotwares load on the regular PSP without any modifications. I think that your market for a product like this one is very big. Price is very reasonable to sell to end user for about $60.

im guessing yes.
but whether or not the product is real,i dont know..
best be safe rather than sorry smile.gif

and knowing how our friendly neighbourhood game shops are,i wouldnt be surprised if they start bullshitting with this kickstart, adding it to the cost of the PSP,thereby tricking buyers into buying something they most definitely do not need

well, there are a lot of people who dont know squat about homebrew apps or CFW,and those people are very easily exploited by these tactics.
hell, even a fairly seasoned psp owner can be fooled.
it's all up to the user/person's knowledge on the matter
