really noob question...firmwares can be upgraded isn't it? If I get the original firmware still can upgrade to custom firmware? Asking coz I'm thinking of getting PSP slim (with original firmware) and in case a custom firmware is released (with hope) sometime later. smile.gif

this has made me thinking...can the new PSP slim be installed with custom firmware? Would be considered as downgrading isn't it coz PSP slim is coming out firmware V3.60... unsure.gif how safe is downgrading now unsure.gif

Custom firmware user can upgrade their firmware to the latest custom firmware. Now the latest custom firmware is 3.52 M33, same with official firmware..also 3.52...but with lots more.

I dont understand "how to enjoy life with just 1 game..."
*
oh...ic. Basically custom firmware can upgrade anytime but official firmware will have more difficulties changing the firmware since you said ONLY 3.50 can downgrade to 1.5 then install custom firmware. Wow...wonder if the new PSP will be affected as well.

QUOTE(Lakum @ Aug 16 2007, 01:04 PM)
Ya...btul tu. Tunggu ja...nanti ada la tu hackers yg nak hack mobo tu. Only time matter.....for now..enjoy ur life while u can. (pergh..ayat)
*
What I meant by "how to enjoy life with just 1 game..." is the 1 game that comes with the PSP package if I get the slim PSP. No money to buy new UMD laugh.gif

sorry, I don't understand. If homebrew games need UMD, what's the difference compared to getting the original game itself? blink.gif

I think almost any shop that sells modded PSP can do the upgrade for you. I just got my new one yesterday and they modded it on the spot. Got mine from Bernard's shop at City Bazaar - Gamer's Solution smile.gif

LOL don't know why people bother buying fake flash cards. Just few weeks back some shops in LYP doing promotiion on Memory Stciks. 4GB MS PRO Duo only for around $250. I recommend getting SanDisk they are the best in producing memory sticks and 5 years limited warranty and also a hardcase to store your stick unlike Sony which give you a soft pouch that can barely protect it.
*
Shit! You serious? RM250 only?? Why did I even bother checking Sony Style....they set the price there RM399 doh.gif
How long does the promotion last? or how do we know if its fake...

QUOTE(msn83235502 @ Aug 20 2007, 02:13 PM)
my mspd already crack crack... hahaha.. damn.. i kept it inside the adapter and the adapter is inside my wallet... huhu... now i regret... huhu..
*
cannot warranty ka? Or is it fake?

QUOTE(tgdir @ Aug 22 2007, 12:38 AM)
thanks bro ... icon_rolleyes.gif .. will try changing the memory card. Any memory card recommendations? longer lasting, durable & reliable? ...  coz most of the games i am saving on my memory. And how much does it cost the good 4gb memory card? ... or is it compatible with 8gb ... if compatible  rclxm9.gif
*
You only have 2 options...like Monster Hunter G say - Sandisk...with 5 years warranty I think. Or the wayyyyy overpriced Sony for RM399 whistling.gif

btw, I have another question...if the buttons sink or isn't working well on our PSP...can this be repaired? Sink as in...play so long or rough and machine is a bit old etc

Added on August 22, 2007, 1:28 amuh oh...just now playing Initial D a bit...suddenly game lag. Hope mem card got no problems sweat.gif

aite, i'm going to get one by the end of this month. here are the offer

psp standard pack with 3.52 m33-2 firmware with ac adaptor & battery + 2gb memory stick with adaptor (fully games, mp3, movie, software) + 2 in 1 usb cable + screen protector (hori) + pouch & strap + headphone & remote + playgear pocket (logitech) + 2 dvd games (up to 20 games) is cost rm 800.

is it ok? or should it be cheaper. if there is, where. i got this quotation from bro bernard. ppppplzzz help me guys
*
you could try removing 2GB mem stick from the package and go for the Sandisk 4GB one whistling.gif The mem stick they provide only got 1 week warranty and if you don't take care of it well.... sweat.gif

I got my pack from there just last week and I switched the playgear pocket with a zip pouch. Preferred that to the hard brick laugh.gif

how's the quality of the music played frm psp?

can match with IPOD?

what I don't like about PSP's music is that there aren't many equalizers to select from. Only 4-5 and all weird eqs...
