u need to check whether if ur mobo if is a TA-082.
If it is, you need to upgrade to 2.80, before downgrading to 1.5, then upgrade to 3.xxOE

If it is not a TA-082, upgrade it to 2.71, then dg to 1.5.

either way, u won't be needing GTA UMD

hey, how do you transfer a savedata?
I played Fifa2. Then I wanted to format my MSPD. so, I copied the folder (ULXXXXX) to my computer. when I transfered it back to my MSPD and played the game, the file is there but the game starts from the beginning. Did I miss anything?

One more thing, I'm using 3.40OE-A (PSP1006) and my friend is using 2.81 original firmware (PSP1001). We can't ad-hoc NFS. What should I do? By the way, the NFS on his psp is UMD and mine is not brows.gif Its not impossible right?

I am just wondering what is the difference between a ripped iso and full iso.

Can anyone shed some light or my question will be forever silenced?

Most probably it will forever be silenced as it's illegal to talk about piracy in here.

Hi there,

Might need an answer to a beginner question here since im still new to PSP after i bought it last week.

Issit better to put machine on sleep mode or complete turn off mode?
Cause i tend to play in office once in a while ( maybe every 1 - 2 hours) and each session is like 15 minutes.
My friend was telling me to put it to sleep mode but i need better confirmation on that.
Let's say im putting my psp to sleep mode for 1 week, will the battery last that long?
Will turning off the console completely degrade the life span?

Please advice.

Thank You in advance. smile.gif

as logical thing to do, put it in sleep mode if u want to put it in standby while
u still want to continue the game without having to restart the whole game in
a short while. sleep mode 1 week. hmm.. i dont know. but if ur psp battery
died it also act in standby mode. doesnt affect if im not mistaken.

hi there,

i tried to play a network game with my friend on the PSP but we cant.
Basically, we cant find each other on the game list
Both of us have different firmware actually. so is that the root cause ?

make sure you 2 are in the same channel... Network Settings.

Also, are your games of the same region? R1 won't work with R3 for some games.

thanks super mario. That is the straight answer im looking for. smile.gif

I guess you are a noob explainer then.
The people that will come here and ask questions here are usually the ones that need answers be it the very basic ones. Just shoot it straight. that additional information from you is good but still my main question wasn't answered on your first post
