it is known that slim battery life is shorter compared to fat battery. you can use the fat battery on slim psp if you want but..no cover la.
(if u use the batt from fat psp on slim psp..not comparing fat & slim psp with their respective battery This post has been edited by ticke: Sep 23 2007, 02:59 PM |

QUOTE Battery life To keep its slim figure, the new PSP has a flatter 1200mAh battery than the more bulbous 1800mAh one on the previous model. But, because it uses power more efficiently, it's actually rated for the same play time--3 to 6 hours of gameplay, or 3 to 5 of video playback. Going on a long flight? The more capacious battery actually fits into the battery bay, and offers several more hours of battery life--but the battery cover won't fit over the top of it. (Sony will be selling an extended battery kit, with the larger battery and proper cover.) The better battery life is welcome, of course, but DS gamers will be disappointed--unlike that Energizer Bunny of gaming systems, you'll need to be juicing up the PSP more frequently. http://reviews.cnet.com/consoles/sony-psp-...7-32578716.html This post has been edited by dattebayo: Sep 23 2007, 02:31 PM |

juz for info:-
The upcoming PSP Lite will include a smaller battery for the smaller system. The battery that's included with the system will run for about 5 hours while gaming. However, if you have the battery from your original PSP, you'll be able to get 8-10 hours. The problem with this solution? The battery will bulge out of the system. Sony will offer a new backplate for those interested in adding the old battery to the new system. This post has been edited by ticke: Sep 23 2007, 03:00 PM |

Got to see the new PSP Slim today. Its in Ceramic White as well.
To be honest, on first look, the size does not really feel any difference from the PSP Fat. I mean, by looks, its hard to differentiate between the 2. Of course, the speaker holes is the indicator for me.. Did not ask to molest the Slim cause i am worried, i might fell in love with it..LOL.. |

1. Using PSP Slim and Lite with 3.60 M33 firmware. I think is region free if you're using M33 firmware.
2. 3.60 M33 is the current best firmware for Slim. Can play all back up game. 3. Original PSP with 3.60 won't play backup game, I assume. 4. 3GP if I'm not mistaken. |

1. For games, it's region free since the fat one. For movies, I'm not sure...
2. Not sure, just get a 3.60 M33. Heck, that's the only CFW available for Slim & Lite 3. Why would you download games? Buy original. Support the gaming scene 4. I think it's MP4 |

They only have Darth Vader's face at the back and bundled together Star Wars: Rogue Squadron... Added on September 23, 2007, 5:31 pmSo, it'll be RM700+ for a PSP Slim & Lite and a UMD game (which genarally costs around RM170). So, console == RM530. But then need to add RM180 or so for a 4GB MSPD. But what the heck, it's value for money. *shouldn't this be discussed in the PSP Price topic* This post has been edited by Cyphereza: Sep 23 2007, 05:31 PM |
