it is known that slim battery life is shorter compared to fat battery. you can use the fat battery on slim psp if you want but..no cover la.

juz for info:-
The upcoming PSP Lite will include a smaller battery for the smaller system. The battery that's included with the system will run for about 5 hours while gaming. However, if you have the battery from your original PSP, you'll be able to get 8-10 hours. The problem with this solution? The battery will bulge out of the system. they say when u use ac without battery (over a long period of time) it will cause some prob on the psp that it won't be able to charge battery properly or at all...like u said dunno whether it's true or not...
