Get the Slim one lah simple choice. Battery life longer + not as heavy. Less strain on the hands after long hours of playing. Usually comes loaded with the 3.60 M33 firmware, go figure.

got a question to ask, are there still any PSP made in Japan recently? I encountered some threads in GSales that said their PSP was made in Japan and is less than 1 year.

And does those made in Japan must always better than made in China one?

Eh Strangex the battery for slim runs longer or shorter? According to Bernard where I get my PSP Slim from he says the battery for Slim last shorter than PSP Fat, though some reviews I read says Slim battery last longer.

it is known that slim battery life is shorter compared to fat battery. you can use the fat battery on slim psp if you want but..no cover la.

(if u use the batt from fat psp on slim psp..not comparing fat & slim psp with their respective battery tongue.gif )

Battery life
To keep its slim figure, the new PSP has a flatter 1200mAh battery than the more bulbous 1800mAh one on the previous model. But, because it uses power more efficiently, it's actually rated for the same play time--3 to 6 hours of gameplay, or 3 to 5 of video playback. Going on a long flight? The more capacious battery actually fits into the battery bay, and offers several more hours of battery life--but the battery cover won't fit over the top of it. (Sony will be selling an extended battery kit, with the larger battery and proper cover.) The better battery life is welcome, of course, but DS gamers will be disappointed--unlike that Energizer Bunny of gaming systems, you'll need to be juicing up the PSP more frequently.

juz for info:-

The upcoming PSP Lite will include a smaller battery for the smaller system. The battery that's included with the system will run for about 5 hours while gaming. However, if you have the battery from your original PSP, you'll be able to get 8-10 hours. The problem with this solution? The battery will bulge out of the system. Sony will offer a new backplate for those interested in adding the old battery to the new system.

Got to see the new PSP Slim today. Its in Ceramic White as well.

To be honest, on first look, the size does not really feel any difference from the PSP Fat. I mean, by looks, its hard to differentiate between the 2. Of course, the speaker holes is the indicator for me..

Did not ask to molest the Slim cause i am worried, i might fell in love with it..LOL..
