Looking for daily ride to office.. about 80km per day (20%city 80% highway). Any recommendation in lower maintenance and good fuel consumption? Looking at kawasaki Z250, ninja 250 and honda cbr250r.

Looking at kawasaki Z250, ninja 250 and honda cbr250r. Ninja 250, as 80% highway.Z250 are naked, doesnt have any wind protection. CBR250 are a single piston bike, better to have a twin piston bike for highway riding. |

QUOTE(vexus @ Oct 17 2016, 09:40 PM) In my mind for reliability, service center and spare part availability, Kawasaki bro.KTM duke 250 ABS - rm18888 SYM T2 250i - rm13388 Benelli TNT300 - rm18990 Benelli TNT25 - rm12990 kawasaki Z250SL - rm14518 http://buyasuperbike.com/product/tnt300/ http://buyasuperbike.com/product/250-duke-abs/ http://buyasuperbike.com/product/t2-250i/ http://buyasuperbike.com/product/tnt25/ Which bike is more reliable, more service center & cheaper spare parts? other than the 4 above do you have any other to recommend? KTM and SYM not much on service centre part. Benelli only have 1 official service centre, spare part non existant, and bad reliability. |

QUOTE(jeremy07241 @ Nov 3 2016, 10:27 AM) i have read some comment that twin piston maintenance is higher than single piston. is it differ by alot? Simple maintenance, engine oil quantity differ because bigger and smaller engine although still 250cc. CBR250 use 1 litre, Ninja 250 use 2.3litre. Other maintenance wise, 2 spark plug vs 1 spark plug, 8 valve vs 4 valve, 2 piston vs 1 piston. Stuff like that. But seriously for highway 2 piston better then 1. More relaxing ride, not pushing the engine too hard |

QUOTE(jojolicia @ Nov 4 2016, 03:54 PM) I only know from earlier post > 1 piston ok for city ride; need 2 piston for more relaxing highway ride i won't say 2 piston would be relaxing on the highway but it does not vibrate as much as 1 piston lol.one more question, maybe a stupid one to expert but serious to me. does a one or two piston bike gives a different zroom zrommm sound when riding or same sound effect ? I've rode duke 200 and I'm currently on R25 and the vibration is massive. duke 200 would make my hands numb after 30 minutes of continuous riding (around 100km/h -120km/h) while r25 i can ride for one hour or more with less numbness on my hands. sounds? depending on ur exhaust system, some 1 piston bike sounded so good while some 2 pistons bike sounded so bad. no u won't get the sound like the 4 inline ones... the 4 inlines sound is..... orgasmic.... |

Today, many bikes up to even 900cc are on twins already. Only bikes I can think of below 1,000cc with an inline-4 are the XJ6 series and the similar recond FZ6R by Yamaha and the CBR600RR by Honda...Any other inline-4 below 1,000cc out there? |
