Buy those kit with ready make cable if your distance from dvr to camera is not too far. I think normally they provide 20m per camera.

If got multimeter just measure make sure the dc male @ camera end have 12V & bnc if not familiar used YT for guide. Can also measure for shorts using continuity test using multimeter for bnc if got issues. I noticed layman prone to shorting the ground of the bnc with the needle when installing twist on type bnc.

this type bnc no need to use clamping tool ?


the rg 59+ power cable i plan to slot in to white pvc pipe ..wonder how many cables suggest to slot in in to 1 pipe ?

do need to use 4x4 waterproof box to fix the camera ?


what is the function for the button switch on the camera ?

will install outside house but under awning ...wont kena rain water..

long time never touch analog ..so now you switch to digital or solar cam?hihi ..

How much is yours and what is HDD capacity? I see Reolink 8ch 5Mp POE NVR package with 2 TB is around 1399 but need top up for another 4 more camera.

Yes and network cable with POE NVR is easier to install/neater and can fit more inside PVC pipe. But I see they only give 4 under the package and only 18M length.

No, ip camera is more stable than analog, less wiring interference compare to analog.

ops..i go for wrong choice ...

And quality wise 5Mp IP camera is at least 30% better than analog.

Put in kitchen better, can monitor for fire incident if away
