I am planning to put it on top corner to the main entrance. Still need cable to run from the camera to the solar panel.

And for backyard of a terrace house, will it get enough light to generate electricity for charging?

If the location is suitable, this one no cable.

What brand is this? Can consider solar for backyard if the PV panel is sensitive enough. But for front one, definitely I have to go battery. But my doubt is, how long will the battery last before it needed to be charged? I don’t mind quarterly charging, but weekly or lesser..

Testing remotely 5Mp Tuya wireless NVR Kit. Results quite ok. Human detection seems good also. Bottom pic is max digital zoom based on 1st pic.

They only have 4 channel currently. Didn't ask about pricing yet because Alexa/Google display have issues for now. But the 5MP POE bullet is around rm200++

How is the accuracy? 100% will trigger? I tested about 4 types, finally found 1 can be acceptable.

Once is triggered on my phone I would check the cctv and I see movement of either cars, cats or people. It also depends on the position to capture the movement but am satisfied with the unit.

In one day, somwtime I can easily receive about 20+ notifications.

Hi, I plan to have cameras set up at the locations below. Any comments? They’re wired cameras. Is it fine to drill a hole to run PoE cable through to front door and balcony?

Only a suggestion ...not sure allow by jmb or mc.

Place one camera each at left right end corridor. Have 1 camera inside will do. Use conduit instead of conceal wiring for external..

I think the new AI Camera from Tuya looks more promising, less false alarm. Well, need get my hands on the actual units to be sure.

Would agreed with you.

As for my case, I oredi have the cctv installed prior, so this is just an add on. The pir sensor is for outside the house intruder detection.

My meaning of outdoor means IP66 can be exposed to the elements. Just got my hands on one but still under testing.
