For the nvr, if i use 1000ft @ 300meters rj45 cat6 (poe) cable to connect the nvr and cctv, should be okay right? I means the cctv will function normally and recorded clearly? Or the quality will drop as the poe cable is too long?

I've finished my hse reno with cat6 cable installed for cctv. Now looking for a 8ch system. 5 cctv will be outdoor but not directly exposed eg in porch. Most likely will be mounted on plaster ceiling. Will a bullet cam be too heavy for this ?

For a 8ch nvr, i need to uplink it to my router if i want to access it via hp app. Wouldn't that take up 1 lan port n leave me only 7 for cam ?

Last is any recommendation which brand, model n where to buy it at good price ?

I am looking a wifi CCTV but seems all video will store on a local SD card only. If the thief is smart enough to take my CCTV then defeat my purpose.
