So I was at regent street apple store today, bought another 7 plus. Ended up getting week 37 model which was quite similar but softer in hissing noise (noticeable when record video). Returned it on the spot. Got my existing week 39 swapped out as well. They only had a week 38 unit to spare. Noise seems so much more faint, almost gone but the speakers are not as loud on this compared to the Week 39 unit. Will go back after 2 weeks to see if can get a Week 41 unit. Read in other forums they have no issues.

How to differentiate the week between the IPhones?

Note 7 is a complete halt by Samsung. Hope they rectify the issues soon.

iPhone 7 has only the hissing sounds as far as I know, if there are other problems it's probably isolated. The Note 7 on the other hand is defective and affects all units. They aren't rectifying the issue, they have completely discontinued it.

As for buying from Senheng, yes, no problems whatsoever purchasing from them, only stocks may be limited.

Ok, I didn't realize Samsung discontinued Note 7 as in not fixing the issues. How sad. Oh well, there is always Note 8 next year.

They gave up dy. Coz replacement units also exploding. Name damaged already. Ppl will no longer go notes 7 , even 8, if they managed to fix the issue also.
