I don't think that's the hissing sound. Because using my 5S and Note 5. Both have this sound. The previous video by another user can be confirmed to be hiss sound
*
I would pass that off as rough static noise, it think it's common in any electronic device. But some users have posted louder static sounds than some which I feel should be sent in for replacements.

For those who want change your iPhone due to the hissing problem, please be check and double confirm that your phone is change to a complete new and seal unit with the box or claim warranty and change to a refurbished unit without box.

If the hissing problem is at acceptable level, it is better to continue use it instead of change to a refurbished unit.

I guess you don't have much options:
1. Wait until the contract over (recommended)
2. Pay the damages and get a new one. (Least recommended)
3. Keep the contract and get a new contract with Celcom (Provided someone in the family has no telco plan)
4. Buy the iPhone without contract. (Best recommended if he really can't wait)

Yes most probably refurbished set. Will come wrapped but not inside a new box.
Hence the headache starts as many here warned so many times.

Bro your phone is batch week 40 right ? Has hissing sound also ?
*
At very minimal, I think all phone has hissing sound even my 5s and 6s, but my friend one on week 39 has static sound more obvious. But only can be hear in very very quite environment.

From my opinion, people are overrreact towards the issues.

if the hissing sound is very low, then I think it can acceptable.
some of the people said after wear a case for the iPhone, the sound will reduce/gone.

For those who buy from apple online store malaysia, can give a call to the apple Malaysia and try ask them change a new/seal unit for you because there have a DOA policy for 10 days from the invoice date.
