It is normal features for iPhone. I kena once when I am driving and using my iPhone for Waze and put my phone holder under the sun.
It is warning ur phone is hot.
I was so scare then straight away blow with air cond.
happen with my iPhone 5s.
So dun worry. It's normal.

perhaps as uncle benny mentioned. never experience using any iphone after so many gens. at first i thought ts putting up a joke

this 'stupid' feature save lives my friend, just like human pain sensors

Beware though, getting too "used to" ios and its features which could mean that there is no turning back except buying newer, higher capacity and newer iphones every year. Its like a disease.

it happened if your battery is overheated but for new phone hardly happened ler,

it happened to my current iphone 5 when my battery was in bad condition, once i changed the battery, now i don't have such problem even waze under hot sun or play pokemon go non-stop...

i think better bring back sc and check for the battery, it might be battery faulty

5 hours 26 min SOT with heavy usage. current batt status is 26%. quite impressed.

My case was exactly same as yours. 5s too. Never encounter again since that time.

but what i tried out today with friend their i7, my 6S and 6
i try capture video in a room
i notice all video capture for 7, 6S and 6 will have environment noise, one thing have to take note is 7/7Plus have sounds coming out from the ear piece speaker, so it makes me feel the noise is slightly more noisy, when i close the speaker with hand, only sounds coming out at the bottom, it is as quiet as my 6S and 6

just in case people testing out their new iPhone capturing video, to take note the sound will coming out from additional speaker

This is damn true, I've been changing iPhones every year since the 3GS and always to the highest capacity lol
