If you are still under their MOP plan although contract already expired you don't need to pay any advance payment. Unless you meant you are no longer using Maxis?

Do you know if this waived fee applies to walk-in store purchases too? The fact that they don't deliver on the weekends is a bit troublesome as I have a 9-6 job and it's embarrassing to have them come to my office and be spotted by my colleagues

Yup, they will waive it for you at the maxis center. Be sure to go to their center and not one of their exclusive dealers.

Ya, I believe they do have a certain global roll out plan in place, but whether or not that changes is anyone's guess. Apple estimates supply and demand will only reach an equilibrium in March next year.

I was hoping that they would release a place to at least register your interest. That way they can gauge the amount.

Past experiences tell me that Registration Of Interest is nothing but a ploy to capture your details and spam your email account, sometimes after ROI still insufficient stocks.

my friend bought 7+ 128gb fr A, A is blacklisted now cause didint pay bill and maxis lock the phone. totally cannot use now. call maxis and they ask my friend call A. A didint reply too.

Yes, this is a known issue. I believe there’s not much your friend can do other then make a formal report or continue to hunt down the perpetrator. Read in some cases a third party shop can help but not sure if it works.
