Don't know. Their realview site isn't working for iPhone 8 and 8 Plus, but working for all other phone models, ha ha.

Nope. Rule has been around for some time. And if you terminate with less than 4 months remaining then I think they waive any penalty.

Could we walk in to buy iP8 on contract to any maxis centre? Would they have it in stock? Which branch has ready stock for space grey 256GB?

Seems like Maxis only offer Iphone for zerolution for MO Business 158 only.

If the branch has stock then yes, you can walk in. Unfortunately there's no other way of knowing whether there is stock or not except to call their customer service or use live chat on their site.

If I get the iphone from Maxis will it be a locked set?

Or you can just order online from the Maxis site. They deliver to your doorstep and I see they have stock everyday (replenish from out of stock to limited stock few times a day)

There are now rumours that Maxis iPhone X preorder will be on the 17th November. Previously it was rumoured on the 8th Dec

Nope. But you still risk maxis barring the phone if you don’t pay your bills.

If you want to do 0% EPP (either 12 or 24 months) then you’ll have to walk in to their store though.

Got a call from Maxis telesales promoting iPhone 8 64GB for existing subscribers of 188 MOP (but my contract has ended)... in which I pay straight up RM1,970 before tax without the RM954 device advance

Anyone else got this same exact call? Sounds too good to be true but I confirmed it with Maxis live chat.

But that is nothing special? That is the same deal for everyone on 188 MOP plan. You can see it in the Maxis website.

Did you read my whole post? Without RM954. Website forces you to pay RM954 leh, the device advance.
