Anyone else got this same exact call? Sounds too good to be true but I confirmed it with Maxis live chat.

Got a call from Maxis telesales promoting iPhone 8 64GB for existing subscribers of 188 MOP (but my contract has ended)... in which I pay straight up RM1,970 before tax without the RM954 device advance

QUOTE(attw @ Oct 30 2017, 07:59 AM) Hmm, I thought the website waives the advance payment for qualified buyers once you log in? Not sure though, as I normally prefer to walk in to maxis centres when signing for contract. Do you know if this waived fee applies to walk-in store purchases too? The fact that they don't deliver on the weekends is a bit troublesome as I have a 9-6 job and it's embarrassing to have them come to my office and be spotted by my colleagues QUOTE(Lego Warfare @ Oct 30 2017, 08:44 AM) If you are still under their MOP plan although contract already expired you don't need to pay any advance payment. Unless you meant you are no longer using Maxis? If I walk in the store, then I don't need to pay the advance payment as well? Or is this strictly a website thing? This post has been edited by GJolie: Oct 30 2017, 08:49 PM |
