+1 on this issue... Telco seems very slow in their action.  Waiting for SME instruction.. Until today, no sms or call from my telco (Maxis) regarding the Note 7...  vmad.gif  vmad.gif  vmad.gif

I have not receive any calls from SME so I called the Samsung store myself. They said I can come starting from tomorrow for the exchange.

Even if you call your telco, they will said waiting for Samsung memo. Unless Samsung already announced telco's unit is accepted through SME.

out of the blue, i contacted SME (amazing, no Q) regarding the airasia ban and all, trying my luck to get a Note 5 again. She said the TOP MANAGEMENT is having a meeting with the TELCO to determine the next course of action for the TELCO.

I think the best thing now is to power off and return/refund as soon as possible, we all know what is the outcome in the end anyway.

AirAsia started imposing ban on note 7 where's you won't be able to board the flight if u are carrying one. This is getting serious...[attachmentid=7786644]

woh... lucky... just flew back on AA last night

Actually it's very difficult to recognize Note 7 .. from far all smartphone looks kinda same.
Also even with curved edge, looks like S7 Edge don't you think.

Seriously, i having a dilemma now ==.i cant find any phone can replace Note 7.
S7 Edge the design is weird... not as nice as Note 7...
Not a fan of Iphone 7 either...
Note 5 is way too old technology...
No extra phone to use until next Note series is out...

What you guys think ???

nothing wrong with blasting sms. it's not that expensive compared to this whole fiasco.

plus, it's in line with putting customer safety first.

they are calling ppl anyway. so, regardless of whether phone number is updated or whether is present owner or not, at least they try..

sms can say sth like please power down phone and use another phone. customer service will contact you soon to explain.

Its already spread across the web, news,fb,forum n whatnot..if u choose to ignore it,u still said u dont know.

Even sms blasted, u still said u never recv.trust me.
