Yes, it's true.
Rollback to previous version of Chrome will settle that issue.

My dad used this phone for few months already.

Everything ok since he just light use, the only issue is the Whatsapp won't make notification sometimes, need him to open the apps in order to receive message.

Any idea/resolution on this?

Thanks in advance.

Try to answer off my head.
1. Security. Turn autostart on for whatsapp
2. Settings. Battery. Turn optimization off. Or don't let battery optimization restrict whatsapp.
3. Recent screen. Swipe down on whatsapp and lock it.
4. Permissions. Whatsapp. Turn all on.
5. Not sure needed or not... developer option. Turn off miui optimization. Turn off memory optimization.

Works for other apps that needs instant notification. Somehow for all this is not needed for weChat.

probably cause wechat is top apps in china. So xiaomi might have optimized miui for it.

It takes that time if I use it while charging, especially YouTube.
If charging without using, takes 2.5h or more.

install ampere apps, then check the mA value when its charging. the range should be 0-2A depend on the battery %. ( normally 50% and below u will get around 1.5 ~1.8A )

if always around 1A regardless ur battery %, could be ur adapter problem.

try other cable n adapter to confirm its not ur phone problem.

Check your charger output, 1A or 2A?

Just got this a few days back. Battery is amazing after optimizing every setting in miui, no backlit buttons, no keyboard vibration etc.. auto & moderate-low brightness, mostly on wifi connection. So impressive.

Performance also top notch to me. It's the dream phone turned reality for me. Cannot imagine what 820 in mi5 must be like...

P.S - Apparently don't do this (drain the battery) more than a few times or avoid it completely. Li-Po/li-ion batteries don't do well at full charge & full discharge, temperature dependent by quite a big margin too. The source might be outdated or over-exegerating with really lousy batteries. It seems Xiaomi has tuned the battery management according to Security app voltage report. But there may still be some situations you can try to avoid to further prolong long term battery life.

I think the touchscreen is not the best, sometimes oversensitive sometimes under sensitive.
When typing and editing with Google keyboard not so accurate especially cut and paste.
When browsing with Chrome sometimes it open a link when I was just scrolling.
When playing real-time games sometimes after selected a play no response especially when the screen smudges.

I plan to to apply screen protector hopefully can help on this. Which one do you guys recommend? Does matte screen protector works well on this phone? Thanks.
