My dad used this phone for few months already.

Everything ok since he just light use, the only issue is the Whatsapp won't make notification sometimes, need him to open the apps in order to receive message.

Any idea/resolution on this?

Add whatsapp in autostart, you can find autostart inside the security app, under the permission tab

Send warranty, temporarily you can use quick ball feature

Try double tap the capacitive button(s)...

hi guys. just wanted to ask. recently my phone suddenly cannot write anything to the external SD.

anyone else had that issue? i only noticed it last week when suddenly got a new 'Camera' folder as the photos couldnt go to the SD card anymore...

is there any solution? otherwise so pointless to have the SD card...

format your sdcard again. Else try change another sdcard to see if it due to faulty sdcard

My hypothesis is end of Jan next year due to launching of Redmi 4 series in India. They have to prove the Indian fans that Nougat will arrive for Redmi 4 series by showing that the old RN3P is getting Mallow by end of Jan.

not really..even they launched redmi 4 there with android 6..doesnt mean other devices will get the same treatment..
