Actually this thing about AF, it's there when you applied for the card. If you are not happy with it, then don't apply at all. If you have applied then be prepared to pay. It's up to the bank to waive for you or not. It doesn't matter how much rebate you got vs AF.

You can always cancel and let the retention department to call you but whether they will call you or not, that's also up to them.

I wasn't the one who deleted the post and I'm sure the moderator who deleted has his reason. Probably it's the language used. I'm just guessing.

Called CS to apply YOLO as an additional card (non-conversion) last Wednesday. Appeared under "create pin for card" section under internet banking on last Friday, and received it yesterday. Really 5-7 working days but they sent with normal mail to my home address instead of my preference of courier to office.

Now contemplating to activate it or not even though it's non-conversion. Worry that CS might messed up and my VOX disappears before Sep cashback is in. Should I or should i not? I know fruitie still has her VOX active even though she opted for conversion.

Correction. I didn't opt for it but that was what the CS told me. I didn't want it actually but luckily didn't happen eventually.

I see...my bad. I'm in a dilemma right now coz i've got online bookings to do and can hopefully max the YOLO rebate for the remaining days of the month. Furthermore, my VOX rebate has always been the later batch to be credited. Okok...i'll sort this out myself. Maybe take a leap of faith and activate...

already got my 1st statement for yolo + vox..

18th oct vox statement date

got my yolo on 6th...activate on 7th..

only 11 days already got statement..

now need wait another 10 days to start another online spending for bigger amount

When YOLO appeared under "Create PIN for card", did you see both VOX and YOLO? Maybe if conversion VOX won't appear under that section? Just my guess.

Both VOX and YOLO are present under this section for my case. I think some forummer here has experienced his VOX card removed right after YOLO was activated.

u can try to apply e-statement, fast and easy tracking.

my past experience i only give 3 months salary slip, but i also summit my epf statement..

although i'm TS, but i don't think i'm able to delete your post...

i did both when i applied for a free card with citi LOL. and i was offered a card by the officer which is a level higher than the free card. but still got rejected LOL.

I got the card for free 10 years ago and slowly they creep up the annual fee till now 198.

Rebates or not, you guys better beware.

I didn't apply a card to get slowly increased annual fee. Im surprised you guys applying for it, lol .

PS: nothing to do with annual income or credit limit. I even pay advance CR to UOB.

I don't. It is not a useful card for me with the AF. I have other free AF card serves same purpose.

I didn't know UOB One is already in market for 10 years.

I hold UOB One card for since 2011. First yr AF free, 2nd year call to cancel as they offer to waive AF, but need to pay RM50 government tax. Receive SMS to ask whether I wan to retain if they waive AF n the government tax with min 1 swipe. Continue using the card. 3rd year, call up b4 AF + tax and they also not allow n I ask for cancellation. Again, receive the SMS to retain. 4th year, call up n they said they d waive my AF for 3 years. But I still call every year to ensure the 3 years waiver is confirm. I think after this 3 years waiver, I will not be that lucky anymore.
