Even my friend tried several cards also declined.

Terms and conditions:
This Campaign is open to all American Express Cardmembers.
Participants are required to register for the campaign via SMS and make a minimum TNB bill payment of RM50 during the campaign period to be entitled for the entries.
TNB bill payment can be made over-the-counter, Maybank Website, Maybank Auto PayBills or MyTNB Self Service Portal with Maybank American Express Cards.
There are a total of 400 winners, of which each winner is entitled to a maximum Cash Back of RM500.
Total amount of Cash Back to be awarded is capped at RM200,000 during the campaign period.
Winners will be selected by a randomizer programme.
Each Cardmember is entitled to win only once throughout the campaign period.

Most likely cashier not updated on status maybank cards all working back like normal already today....

lol of course not guaranteed. anything random selection or quota limited, sure some get some don't. furthermore, you only can win 1 time, which make this promo undesirable.

and paying TNB only gets you 1x TP

Guys paying ptptn with AMEX ? Do they even accept amex ? And Maybank giving 5x TP too for ptptn ?

They don't accept AmEx.

i made a transaction at Starbucks KLIA and they didn't require me to use the PIN even though i've already set the PIN and tried using it before.
anyone encountered the same thing yesterday?

PIN & Pay will only be mandatory implemented on 1st July. Many merchants still bypass PIN now.

did u pay with amex?

if not maybe the cashier used visa wave for you other card?

The 5% weekend dining cash back. Is that a permanent feature or is it a promotion only until a certain date?

What is the mcc at mac d ? My last month uses using mbb2amex on Saturday didn't get cash back. The mac d branch is at port klang main road near teluk gadong.

Permanent until Maybank decides to revise again.
