You have to go to a Digi Store and ask them to activate RoamBorder. If you have not been with this account for six months (obviously) and you did not register with autobilling, bring your passport along.

I ported in my main line on Tuesday and then registered RoamBorder the next day.

Just went to Blue Cube to cancel my Celcom broadband, on pain of RM29 penalty for breaking the contract one month early. Now my Digi Postpaid 110 is both my main line and my broadband.

And for first time in many years most of my quota is not at 2am to 8am. No need to wake up crazy hours just to do my Android/Windows updates.

During the RoamBorder registration, I also got a message from Digi that "Vo-LTE is enabled". But my phone is Galaxy S4! tongue.gif

Well one Digi CS staff told me to bring my passport for roaming activation, but when I did the actual activation, the other CS staff didn't ask to see my passport, probably because I was registering for auto-billing at the same time.

If you really can't bring your passport now, you can try your luck and see if they are OK with it.

Anyway, let's see if U Mobile extends their Data Backpack roaming beyond 2016.

Interestingly Starhub does not appear to have a preferred partner for roaming in Malaysia.

I shouldn't think that Starhub cripples its network for Digi users. That's a bad way of doing business. Next time people don't want to do deals with you anymore. Anyway I will find out next week how the situation with this RoamBorder with Starhub arrangement is. Previously I had been roaming mostly on SingTel, both as a Digi and a Maxis user.
