QUOTE(boarulez @ Dec 9 2016, 10:18 AM) Me too , want to port out from celcom, I'm ok with celcom , good coverage good speed , but Digi weekend unlimited is tempting since my housing area still don't have telephone pole. You better make sure Digi gives a decent coverage at your area before you commit.

QUOTE(facktura @ Dec 16 2016, 07:00 AM) postpaid 110 get that borderroam 5GB in 5 countries for free right? does it mention the quota in the digi app as well? QUOTE(khainiz94 @ Dec 16 2016, 09:40 AM) Actually I do not know how to activate that. Maybe will try to call Digi later. But in my plan they do not show anything about BorderRoam. You have to go to a Digi Store and ask them to activate RoamBorder. If you have not been with this account for six months (obviously) and you did not register with autobilling, bring your passport along. I ported in my main line on Tuesday and then registered RoamBorder the next day.

Just went to Blue Cube to cancel my Celcom broadband, on pain of RM29 penalty for breaking the contract one month early. Now my Digi Postpaid 110 is both my main line and my broadband.
And for first time in many years most of my quota is not at 2am to 8am. No need to wake up crazy hours just to do my Android/Windows updates.

QUOTE(jack2001 @ Dec 16 2016, 05:32 PM) Since when do I have a contract and why is it so long? I am contract free for years and haven't changed my plan in months. Wah, better get someone from Digi to clarify.

Since re-subscribing to Digi, I've been getting SMS spam from 66688. Anyone knows who the owner of this 66688 number is?

QUOTE(khainiz94 @ Dec 16 2016, 07:38 PM) Will do later this week. Can register without passport? Because interested of the free RoamBorder for Postpaid 110? Will go to Indonesia this Feb. Well one Digi CS staff told me to bring my passport for roaming activation, but when I did the actual activation, the other CS staff didn't ask to see my passport, probably because I was registering for auto-billing at the same time. If you really can't bring your passport now, you can try your luck and see if they are OK with it.

QUOTE(prosibu @ Dec 17 2016, 10:42 PM) I think it is quite obvious if digi partner with starhub.... Umobile is under same group with starhub ah... Who knows they treat um different OR treat digi "differently" I thought M1 is a minority shareholder of U Mobile.

QUOTE(bryon @ Dec 17 2016, 11:43 PM) STT Communications is a wholly owned subsidiary of Singapore Technologies Telemedia (ST Telemedia), a private investment holding company part of Temasek Holdings. STT Communications has significant stakes in Global Crossing, U Mobile, Sky Cable Corporation and StarHub. Temasek's major investments include: Bharti Airtel Limited Singapore Telecommunications Limited ST Telemedia So Starhub and SingTel have some common investors? That's not good for competition in SG. Anyway, let's see if U Mobile extends their Data Backpack roaming beyond 2016. Interestingly Starhub does not appear to have a preferred partner for roaming in Malaysia.

I shouldn't think that Starhub cripples its network for Digi users. That's a bad way of doing business. Next time people don't want to do deals with you anymore. Anyway I will find out next week how the situation with this RoamBorder with Starhub arrangement is. Previously I had been roaming mostly on SingTel, both as a Digi and a Maxis user.

Digi is spamming me every day with broadband spam.
No, Digi, I will not buy your broadband plan because of your ridiculous mechanism for VoIP calls. My postpaid is already my broadband.

QUOTE(zeroendless @ Dec 19 2016, 11:52 AM) when i first signed up, i was having issue with 4G but 3G was fine and getting consistent 6-8Mbps and over. I was going to drop it since the Free 4G data doesn't benefit me but right now they are letting 3G into free weekend data so it's all good. If you are fine with 3G in your area, try turn off 4G and see it works for you. I just used ~40GB of free weekend data in 3G in couple days - can't complaint when the other option is piece of crappy 8Mbps streamyx operates at 2M-4Mbps actual download speed. In contrast, Digi actual download speed gets me around 6Mbps-15Mbps with 3G. But fcuk90 is talking about his experience in Singapore and you appear to be talking about Digi domestic usage.
