Just changed it now to the Best prepaid plan (which is the only plan I can transfer to for prepaid. The other option is postpaid). It's 12 sen/min in 30 sec blocks for friends, and I've got pretty much all the necessary/frequent friends and family covered, both Digi and non-Digi in that list. Actually when I first got Digi Campus it was quite alright. But, then the rates went up, and no more free SMS for FnF. It also used to be 1 sen for Digi-Digi SMS for non-friends, but now it's 6 sen flat. Plus I was limited to 11 FnF which to my knowledge only allowed Digi numbers. Though SMS is pretty much dead when you have a smartphone, and especially if like me you have an internet sim.

So there wasn't really anything for me to stick to that plan.
Oddly, my "reload before" date is still the old Campus one, September 2017.

I also hardly use SMS now. The only benefit I got staying in this plan is the 1 year validity. However, after hearing your story, I feel want to change also to best, but I am afraid the 1 year validity will not be there anymore.

One of the main reasons I changed is that I've been making more small calls every week and it's costing me quite a lot. Plus if I use Super Long Life (RM8 for 30 days), it's all the validity period I'd ever need, but with cheaper rates. I delayed my sim changing plan for 2 years, until I had to change my phone very recently.

I was prepared for the 1 year validity to be void and it would state the next top up time to be in a few days, but it doesn't seem to be the case. Maybe for people switching from plans with 1 year validity, they were generous enough for us to keep it for now, until the next year? Or maybe it's a systems glitch, and that if I reload the next time it'll show the correct expiry.

You switched to Best which allows one year validity purchase so it seems reasonable to maintain your old expiry date. Anyway, better just keep your head down for now.

I am thinking maybe you can only keep it until it ends next year, and subsequently you will need to purchase SLL. But do let us know how it goes when you reload next time.

Should be Digi Best Prepaid 2016.

To confirm, type *126# and then press CALL. You should get the plan name and the validity end date.
