QUOTE(Kiding @ Oct 27 2016, 08:46 PM) My iphone 6s plus still remain on 4G signal when receiving call from my friends using android phone from Maxis and Celcom the last i checked, only Digi has VoLTE operational, I didn't see any Maxis or Celcom implemented VoLTE, but I do saw YES claimed they have VoLTE, maybe your friend is field testing Maxis and Celcom? so far I think VoLTE Interconnect between telcos is not possible. |

It can be VoLTE at Digi's end, but not necessarily at the other end. So a caller on Digi can still make the call over 4G+ regardless of what technology the other end is using, even landlines. This post has been edited by tympg: Oct 28 2016, 01:39 PM |

Hi, the RM78 postpaid plan seems interesting but I have two concerns:
1)Once the mobile quota is exhausted, would I still be able to surf the web? This was taken from their page: QUOTE No, you will not be charged extra when you exceed your monthly Mobile Internet Quota. Your data service will be restricted until the next billing cycle. You can opt for Postpaid Internet Quota Top-Up to continue surfing the Internet at regular speed, subject to the relevant terms and conditions 2) Does the weekend 4G restriction still apply? |

QUOTE(jack2001 @ Oct 28 2016, 10:08 AM) Yes this is LTE-A, notice how you are connected to two base stations? One is band 3, the other one is band 7. A site can transmit band 3 and band 7 together... so there is no issue on this.Furthermore, if network configured, you can connect band 3 of site A and band 7 of site B or even band 3 of site A to band 3 of site B (im not sure for this) UM doing 4T4R, receive 40Mhz of same 10Mhz at same tower (wtf i also duno about this) QUOTE(seed80 @ Oct 28 2016, 10:45 AM) 26.1 is the requirement for VoLTE, not 27. Perhaps his number has not provision yet. U should ask him whether he receive SMS that activated the VoLTE 1st?I'm on an iPhone 6s, iOS 10.1, carrier 26.1, able to place VoLTE calls. On ur data settings did u enable LTE for voice and data? QUOTE(AMG2016 @ Oct 28 2016, 11:41 AM) Call tone different when your called party is also VoLTE. DiGi very good for this.U Mobile engineering force ZTE to use same tone as 3G 2G. This causes users cannot differentiate the calls is originating from where... QUOTE(tympg @ Oct 28 2016, 12:19 PM) Yes, tried it before. |

QUOTE(jayko @ Oct 28 2016, 01:16 PM) thanks for your explanation on the IMS part, I wasn't really look into the SIP part and the interconnect between telcos in term of VoLTE, i need to find out more on this topic then reply. First, VoLTE is a protocol using LTE network to make calls, so no matter you call to B party with or without VoLTE, your own side wouldn't drop to 3G aka CS Fallback. I have question for you, why you can make calls from 3G/2G to fixed line? Currently, Malaysia only 2 operators launch VoLTE, and you already know that. Secondly, why VoLTE interconnect not possible? Then how you make calls from mobile network to fixed line network? Why previously can achieve on 3G to fixed line and why now not possible for VoLTE interconnect? Lastly, I used DiGi VoLTE since 25th Oct night until now, no matter who call me or I make call to anyone, I ALWAYS see the 4G sign still there. |

QUOTE(jack2001 @ Oct 28 2016, 02:37 AM) Dgi for some reason does not show the 4G+ symbol. Enter *#0011# in your dailer and select Stack 1. Screenshot and show us if you are connected to LTE-A. I tested using note 5... also having same result...y DiGi makes our life so suffer... have to check with secret code.... |
