I'm using Digi new boardband currently. Initially realized that the WhatsApp call is not supported under this plan unless I pay another RM5 to subscribe the VOIP plan. So, after I subscribed the VOIP plan, my quota will looks like 6gb data, 10 Free streaming and 3gb VOIP.

Now after 2 days usage, I found out that all of my data usage including YouTube are deducted from VOIP 3GB quota instead of normal data. I felt something's not right there. The VOIP quota will be used up first before others. Meaning after 3gb VOIP data used up then I can't make WhatsApp call again even I still got plenty of normal data. Then how? Purchase another rm5 VOIP top up? Then all usage will be falled under it again! What a stupid method!

I'd called Digi help line and the officer told me exactly as what I'm thinking of and mentioned It's written at FAQ section. Yes, it's really written there, the VOIP quota ranged on the first priority there!!

So, any one facing same issue? Any solution?

Thanks for letting us know. Digi getting more and more scummy in their practices. If worse comes to worst, better report to MCMC. VOIP data should not be used for Youtube.

Someone in Digi really hates the customers to do this.

Dont know how digi thinking. broadand plan come free video streaming but VOIP. Mobile internet plan no free video streaming can VOIP.

Since you're using this phone, report to Digi. It's Digi's problem. Also, don't forget to check into settings

Digi Broadband packages is different from Digi Postpaid packages.

Why don't you change to Postpaid plan?

Anyone knows what is the termination fee if i take broadband rm100 + device and before 1 year i terminate

So it's 5+5 shared among you and sup, plus unlimited calls?

I wonder why now DiGi removes all the cheaper plans already, minimum plan RM50 now

Is Digi Best Prepaid 2016 still available?
I plan to get a new simcard and buy for 365 SLL (how much?) and can I get 500MB DATA every month (auto reset monthly)?

nobody knows. digi is famous for changing their product offerings very frequently. maybe digi best 2017 next year?

Postpaid plans maybe more expensive, and got weekend 4G quota limitation. My house area has no 4G signal, no point to waste half of the quota with the plans.

For Digi Broadband package, can you make normal calls?
Do you have to pay for the normal calls?
