QUOTE(tengkurex @ Nov 3 2016, 11:25 AM) Some subscriber reported Webe LTE unstable in certain places. Some just doing fine but not really up to LTE standard speed. For stability like me,I locked it to 3G which is riding on Celcom. LTE with 1mbps to 2mbps speed ... haKindly check your location coverage at https://www.webe.com.my/shop/coverage/?pagetype=4g |

QUOTE(tan_aniki @ Nov 3 2016, 10:04 PM) i don't think there are two different chips for china set and local set for Mi Max. http://www.mi.com/mimax/specs/Since Redmi Note 3 Pro is also using SD650 while various SD652 also supported LTE B5, there should be no issue for all Mi Max model to support LTE B5 even though it is china set. i think you might be confuse with the china website and malaysia website but there are only two CPU models for Mi Max, which are SD650 with 32GB ROM + 3GB RAM and SD652 with 64GB ROM + 3GB RAM or 128GB ROM + 4GB RAM. for those who own Mi Max china set, you can try install LTE discovery or any LTE band detection apps and you should be able to check whether you are able to connect to LTE band 5 for webe or not. dial *#*#4636#*#* to force your phone to connect to LTE only in order not disturb by the network switching back to 3G. http://www.mi.com/my/mimax/specs/ Compare the network frequency band. Seems like you got it wrong. |

QUOTE(spyworld @ Nov 3 2016, 10:09 PM) Webe set a limit for P2P Sharing. streaming video resolution wont auto change to 480p lolStreaming video resolution will auto change to 480p. Most Important: If you suddenly enable tethering, Webe wouldn't charge you. Only can use tethering when you subscribe the package. it is impossible for them to do that on a network level, it will be mitm they do however limit your connection to 2mbps on certain streaming services such as youtube (which include all google services such as google play store) |

QUOTE(tan_aniki @ Nov 3 2016, 10:18 PM) don't use the iphone theme la... Sorry maybe my question is not clear enough.. that screenshot was an example and Yes it is taken from an Iphone not Mi Max, a theme whatsoever..you got set to preferable 4G or not? or you straight away dial *#*#4636#*#* to go the engineering mode and go into the first sim card again, I merely using it as an example.. and Yes I have been thru that code but it did not display any network band.. Care to clarify how? |

the only weird encounter last time is the MI3 which is using SD800 but with different chipset 8274 (without LTE) as compare to regular 8974 with LTE.
so if really Mi Max in china and malaysia got different chipset number again, i don't see any difference between SD650/SD652 in china as compare to malaysia one. |

They did not unlock band 5 by default for devices sold in China. Whether they had the proper band support for you to unlock it's another story. |
