lower frequency means that the coverage is wider but bandwidth is not as great.. while high frequency bandwidth is great but not so good in terms of coverage..Webe Thread V2, Webe Fans Club & Enquiry

QUOTE(alucard89 @ Oct 18 2016, 12:53 PM) Got app or setting to check lte band connected? install Hidden Android Settings from playstore.. at Radioinfo lock to LTE only and you can test it..I think it's band 5 since i also tried the sim on a phone that doesn't support band 5 (only 1800/2600) and only got 3g. |

QUOTE(adamw @ Oct 18 2016, 03:29 PM) QUOTE(azhar75 @ Oct 18 2016, 03:57 PM) tried on three devices all are perfect working.. maybe it does not work/compatible on some devices.. anyway can google around and each manufacturer has come out ways to do the locking mechanism on specific band by using codes.. I only simplified ways by using an app instead of codes.. if it does fail don't blame me.. |

seen majority of the speed lower than 10Mbps I guess this is the price users have to pay for an unlimited data plan..

QUOTE(piglover @ Oct 20 2016, 10:52 AM) Why need so high speed? I did not say it is unsufficient but people will still compare it to other telco speed which is most of the time far more better then webe.. but of course higher speed with the expense of limited data compared to limitless data (I still vague on this) on webe.. I play movie and drama without lag. Watch Astro also no problem. Means it is sufficient speed for everyday use. Do u use it for other purpose? furthermore every person needs is different when using mobile network.. some watch drama or movie like you but some use it for other purposes.. |

QUOTE(tan_aniki @ Nov 3 2016, 10:18 PM) don't use the iphone theme la... Sorry maybe my question is not clear enough.. that screenshot was an example and Yes it is taken from an Iphone not Mi Max, a theme whatsoever..you got set to preferable 4G or not? or you straight away dial *#*#4636#*#* to go the engineering mode and go into the first sim card again, I merely using it as an example.. and Yes I have been thru that code but it did not display any network band.. Care to clarify how? |

QUOTE(pcbase @ Nov 4 2016, 11:20 AM) 502-11 is TMgo and share with webe 'the mobile internet plan' yeah was wrong about yes4g.. should have type 152 instead.. keep thinking of 153.. 502-153 is p1 broadband . webe digital sdn bhd is the company, p1 broadband is webe 'the company' wireless broadband service. webe digital sdn bhd (571389-H) (Formerly known as Packet One Networks (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd) from pic Yes 4G is 502-152 so now you are saying the article from Malaysianwireless is wrong? Bcs they did say it is using 153 not 11 |
