Someone mentioned doable but wont get the discount for certified devices. Best would be to find the way to bypass detection for tethering as some suggested.

It will be fantastic if can get a 4g dongle that also enjoy d certified device discount, n that is d reason holding me back fr signing up webe, cos I need to use it on my laptop.

If all the tethering posts are to be deleted would those with the solution help those in needs of such solution by PM?

I suppose there are 3 groups of ppl here:
1 already knew the methods and are afraid that the 'spys' will close those holes if they are disclosed openly;
and the 2nd group who are less tech-savvy but eager to know the tricks from those who are willing to impart(the 3rd group) their knowledge.

Are Webe so stupid they dont know such loopholes? May be it is not worth their while becos we are just a small group.

If there is a rule here forbidding us to talk about tricks n bypass, then we should abide to it, but is there?

Where did u get this news about "Webe will launch package for ipad and tablet soon"? Yesterday I asked the CS at Webe n the reply was no news on this. I am actually waiting for this as my usage on smartphone is limited.

Can I go to Webe outlet to subscribe n straight away take the SIM card n test it on my certified device?

Maybe in d last 8 days millions have signed up n webe traffics are all clogged up. Or ten of thousands have learned the tricks of free tethering from here?

It really surprise me that with strong backup from TM, yet Webe was launched to the public with these matters unresolved. Probably TM/Webe are still new in mobile biz?

If u think Webe ppl are so smart, n like u said if they are not lazy they can find out all the loopholes by googling n mend/solve them.

Maybe same offer will start tomorrow, I think it is their trick to get u sign up immediately.

Can I reg a new webe number, try one month n if OK, mnp my maxis number to the existing webe contract, without taking the contract termination way?

What is d potential speed of 3g,h,h+? Or any Phablet(>6") that works with Webe?
