logged into my online account and cant view my transaction details.  it shows (pending new card activation).  I have not received any new cards. How come like this?

bare in mind for AF, the system can charge 1 month before the expiry month, during, or 1 month after. mine got charged the month after. if you plan to cancel after one year then to be safe stop spending one month before.

i have been travelling overseas this past 3 months very frequently. I could not book any hotels online (agoda or tripadvisor) since i dont use roaming verseas and cannot get/key in the activation code sent to the phone. But i can easily book using ambank cards. No need for any approval codes....

no sign of my annual fee even in my nov statement, although the card month is oct, guess i qualify for the waiver.

My MBB VS approved 5 Nov. Expiry on card May 22 (flw my MBB2 cards). Called up CS and ask when they will charge annual fee, she said Nov 2017 . So I guess it is safe to say that they flw the anniversary date of the approved date. (called up twice to speak to 2 diff CS to be sure ) 

Think maybe I should call them to lodge a complain? Or maybe get another free year of usage haha

The reduced 30k annual spending is effective 1st december according to the staff I spoke to. And I requested for annual fee waiver in november, so no they are not going to do anything.

I called them back cause was not satisfied with the answer given. spoke to another CR, and she actually asked me to reaply the card again. I blasted her nicely and in the end she submitted a request to reopen the closed account. Let's see how it goes.

And they actually wanted me to call them bck to enquire regarding the status of the case. Asked them to call but was rejected, reason being she wont know when the result of the case will be out.

Ambank CR are a zillion times better.

For recent new applicants of Maybank Visa Signature Card (who applied and obtained for the card within the last 3 months or so), do you still receive the terms and conditions booklet, and the fancy privileges booklet in the envelope containing your new Maybank Visa Signature Card?
For my case, I did not get any booklet at all, other than a standard Pin-and-Pay instruction paper telling me how to activate the credit card and how to set a PIN. As such, I am treated as if I am a cardholder whose existing signature-based credit card is replaced with Pin-and-Pay credit card, instead of treated as a new cardholder of Maybank Visa Signature Card. By the way, this is the first time I have a Maybank Visa Signature Card.
When I called Maybank Customer Service requesting for the booklet, the Customer Service officer asked me to download the booklet from Maybank2u website. Yeah, I know that every bank is implementing cost-cutting measures. But, where is the prestige feeling that I should have, when I first received my Maybank Visa Signature Card?

When you download both booklets, you will see that the booklets are black glossy booklets, symbolizing the prestige we should have as Visa Signature cardholders. 

I could be wrong, but I remembered someone shared in the first version of this thread that the Maybank Visa Signature card is neatly tucked in nice-looking envelope, when the cardholder first received the card. 
Yeah, we apply for this card for the sake of 5% everyday cashback on grocery and petrol. But, shouldn't we have a chance to experience the prestige feeling, when we first received this card? 

Can apply this by investing in FD right? 10k if i'm not mistaken..
