Why would you pay income tax with 2% when they charge 2% upfront? No gain right?

Also make sure to check Maybank2u. Very rare, but sometimes transactions can don't reflect for a LONG time (worst case I've experienced is 3 months). If it's something you know will appear eventually (just late reconciliation) then worth to check otherwise miss out on RM100.

Of course, if it actually never appears then you get free RM1k, so better =p

Haven't exchange maybank treatspoints to voucher in a long time, suddenly see on their online redemption catalogue so many vouchers (Lazada, Petronas, KFC/McD). All those vouchers available if go to Center? Or only AEON like last time?

Withdrawal is a feature, not a bug. We openly discussed cash withdrawal, and he doesn't seem to have a problem with it. CC reload is the thornier issue given AirAsia pays for that....

I'm pretty sure from past experience that the cashback is one-shot for full amount, not split up to 6 months. You should call CS to verify.

Or.... you could go for 500 on 31st, if that one successful then you use another card to earn small rewards (maybe 1x Treatspoints on another MBB card?) on the 2500. So you get both the RM50 AND 2500 treatspoints.

Online cashback you shouldn't look at MBB cards. Public Bank has a couple of good cards for that, UOB also got.
