Yes. Definitely. For my salon and pharmacy purchase also. Last time used SCB cash back gold, always watched am I eligible for cash back for min spend.

Applied on 14.10.2017 at One Utama. Just sign a form and left since they have no stock. Card mail dropped by PosLaju yesterday 17.10.2017. No complain for their service.

SCB Gold still gets the priority. 3% or 3.33% > 2%.

Just want to account my experience here is as well:-

16th Oct: Applied through M2U late night - uploaded IC front bank & EPF statement & latest payslip (I added EPF statement because my payslip wasn't clear, but you only need to upload one document)

17th Oct: Called to check if they've received my application

18th Oct: Appeared on my M2U but no SMS received though

Everything was fuss-free and really easy to manage. Instructions online was very straightforward and user friendly as well.

The Maybank Customer Service Hotline for Signature and Platinum Credit Cards is 1800-88-1801.

I recalled that during the transition to Pin-and-Pay credit cards early this year, there is another Maybank landline number (03-xxxxxxxx) to call, to check the delivery status of the credit card.

Even if we call 1800-88-1801, our call will be forwarded to this landline number.

Can anyone here post the landline number here?

My application for Barcelona was applied and approved via Maybank2u website late last week. But, as of yesterday, Maybank Customer Service said that my tracking number was not available yet.

Try 03-79490626. Found the number at the back of the cc.

But must meet the min requirement which is min RM 500 max RM 1500.
If not met, cannot get a 1 cent.
with this card, I dont have to worry so much.

am from kch too. apply card on the first day m2u, and only manage to receive my card after a week long waiting due to the reason under custody of poslaju, the oic was on leave and card couldnt despatch.

received automated call from poslaju, saying fail to delivery my parcel, most likely this card and open up mbb2u, saw the card name maybank fcb card, why no signature name there? and my credit limit stays.

applied last Friday nite at 1u card center.

I haven't been using my SCB Gold Cash Back card since July because I'm afraid I can't meet the minimum spending of RM 833.33. Lately, no big purchase.

With this card, at least I'm not stressed out with the minimum spending criteria.

Yes the name appeared as Visa Card only.
And another yes if you apply with add card, the CL will be same.

FCB VS cash rebate does it cover online purchase/bill payment online?

It is just my personal opinion.

The name "Maybank FC Barcelona Visa Signature Card" may be too long to be inserted as the name of the credit card in Maybank2u website.

Thus, Maybank choose to shorten the name to "Maybank FC Barcelona Visa Card" in Maybank2u website.

2% Cash back for all purchases all year long (except May and August) and capped at maximum of RM 50 per month.

Does this cover online and petrol purchase?

I believe the same principle of “if you can swipe it then you’ll get the cashback” applies.

their product naming (in the system) is baddddd

why put "maybank" and "card" as the product name both words can be replaced with "signature"

only way to get suprises of any possible exclusions/limitations is to wait till 1 Nov for the first rebate to come in (see in m2u on 2 Nov)... then we would see more and more reports if mbb holds true to their claims.

interesting to know if <RM1 cashback (<RM50 spending per month) would be rewarded or not. based on few mbb cards, it doesnt, but not mentioned specifically for FCB VS.

Since all are under Maybank, why still need to put 'Maybank'?

If I applied for this card and used it for 1 years and then cancels the cards before the annual fee kicks in, do I get to keep the treatpoints I earned in my Mbb account? Or does the treatpoints disappear together with the card cancellation?
