I noticed yesterday my amb attempt on 99sm master failed instantly without any error code
visa failed with invalid expiry date (probably amb tech issue) but it did take some time to process just like we using physical card waving

Ok thanks. I tried 3/4 times with scb Justone in 99 subang jaya. All failed. Orange Terminal. End up pay using Shopeepay through the terminal.

First time trying AP in jaya grocer.  So easy peasy.

i tried mine at mph and works well. but i still didnt understand the hype of apple pay. other than no need to take out your wallet. do we earn any points or bonus from apple?

Can confirm here that Mastercards saved in Apple Pay don't seem to work on the orange Sunmi terminal by Hong Leong Bank at 99 Speedmarts. My Maybank Grab Mastercard didn't work but my Maybank 2 Visa worked

Actually as a still iphone 8 plus user, I can't imagine doing it with wearables or faceid

That's the reason I go to SE 2020 instead of iPhone 12. I just can't give up Touch ID. But who knows, I might embrace Face ID in the future.

today .. during exit parking wallet app blank relaunched a few times still blank (black screen no card visible)
fortunately since end of day reversed back into space. shut down and restarted the phone then all good again.
not pleasant at all. imagine at the exit and few cars behind ...

just try VISA pay RM3000 with apple watch paywave and
its work,  no need key in PIN , no need sign

Given that pauper21 has a tap Transit Card (TnG Card in Los Angeles) in his wallet, the HSBC card could be one issued by HSBC USA which supports Apple Pay.

In any case, HSBC cards issued by HSBC in SG, HK, AU, UK and many more countries supports Apple Pay.

Kinda surprised that HSBC MY did not participate in the Apple Pay launch in Malaysia when they already support this feature in many other countries they currently operate in.

Any idea or hints when HSBC going to be activated
