Hyaku Zeta... maybe this is the original form of Hyaku Shiki which was supposed to be transformable? sweat.gif

Funny, someone was talking about this in the MS Graphica or something like that (a book about 3DCG images of mobile suits).

well, this is the 1/60 kit right?
An MG would be nice... feb=HiNu, mar=Noir; we still have april to dec to wait for the release of V2 biggrin.gif Hopefully, before the end of 07... unsure.gif

meanwhile, dalong's review of HiNu is complete.... 99 marks... superb stuff. However I think some fans might be disappointed with the size of the HiNu as it looks quite small and slim beside the bulky Nu.

Keep up the good work BANDAI...

Nu is incomplete where as HiNu is the refined version so of course slimmer lo. But its already bigger than strike freedom and rx78. Nu is the last and most powerful mecha piloted by amuro so its no surprise that HiNu is much more compact. laugh.gif

I'm thinkin of gettin a strike freedom soon. I need some advice/ answers

1. What's the main difference between MG and HG? (in terms of design)
2. Do i have to do any painting/spraying on MG/HG?
3. Is the price difference worth it?
4. What is the price range?
5. Where can I get it? (for cheap biggrin.gif)
6. Will MG/HG be easily transferable? (as in easy to move from one place to another. Eg. I'm travelling from KL to Singapore and would like to bring it along)
7. Any other advices?
8. Any other interesting models?

Thx biggrin.gif

Edit : Adding more questions

9. Any maintainance required?
10. Which looks better? MG/HG?

I'm not sure whether (in the novel Belthorchika's Children) HiNu is built and refined on the Nu's basic frame, or rather built on a brand new frame. If it was based on the Nu, how can the frame be shrunk that much? It should be the same size then. If it were the latter, then it's easier to accept the shrinkage.

But then, who cares as long as it looks so damn good... whistling.gif laugh.gif

1. See dalong.net for picture reviews
2. You can, but it's not a requirement. MG's colors are good enough, maybe just a few touchups here and there.
3. YES YES YES YES YES.... but NO for the Full Burst
4. price... ask around the shops lah, or convert from yen loh
5. Lowyat.net tongue.gif Or modelling shops all over Klang Valley
6. Get a couple of ice cream boxes with bubble wrap and they should be ok. I shifted mine this way from KL back to JB without any damage to the parts.
7. BUY MORE !!! Welcome to the abyss.
8. MG UC... HGUC... Once you play with MGs, you'd never want to touch 1/100s or 1/144s again... at least for me. Good thing that PGs are still way out of my budget.
9. Erm... don't drop them or you WILL cry... cry.gif

Another addict in the making rclxm9.gif

Found something interesting from keita... MG Aries? shocking.gif
http://f20.aaa.livedoor.jp/~keita/wingfest...i/kotonashi.htm
Come on BANDAI... MG TALLGEESE !!! Roman gladiator FTW !!!

Just for interest's sake... I found one modelling shop in Chinatown in Melbourne over the weekend, and I almost cringed in agony at the price... AUD55 for 1/100 Saviour which costs 2600yen... doh.gif doh.gif doh.gif

I'm abstaining from buying gunpla for a year till I get back to Msia, prices here are crazy... cry.gif

Okay another question~!!
I've seen online shops selling MG Freedom with a note saying
"Paint job required" or something like that....

What does it mean? Do i have to paint the whole thing or just minor touch ups (dirt/damage marks/etc)?

Also, can give me a comprehensive guide on HG/PG/MG/UC/etc?? and their differences?
Thx biggrin.gif

Edit :
I remember reading somewhere that I might have to "outline" some parts with a black marker. Is this true?

Also, is it HARD to assemble the models?]

Edit2 : Nvm, prob/questions answered.
thx boyarque

for outlining and painting depends on your preference actually, although it does gives u the "real" look.

it is not hard to assemble, its just u have to be CAREFUL when assembling...u won't want to accidentally snip off crucial parts...OUCH!!! doh.gif

The Mg Hi-Nu looks like the parts has a bit "extra-finish" is it my eye? Or is it true?

Hmm...basically a MG doesn't need any paint job, juz a bit if u really want all the parts to be colored like the anime/manga version....

PG = Perfect Grade scale 1/60
HG = High Grade scale 1/144 and 1/100
MG = Master Grade scale 1/100 only

UC is a different story laugh.gif It stands for Universal Century with is some sort of era for Gundam wars...Gundams under UC r RX-78, Zeta, MK II etc...

Freedom is under Cosmic Era, referred as CE which r for Seed series....
God Gundam n the Wing series are from other different era, so they r not related to UC era...

UC era Gundams r mostly designed thruout d 80s while God n Wing are after 1994 (correct me if i'm wrong)...

U can check this site out for details... www.gundamofficial.com

For MG Gundams, mostly are from UC while those from other era r hard to b found coz there r lotsa diehard fans laugh.gif

As for linings....u'll need to do that or ur Gundam will have a damn plain look....y dun u go n check www.dalong.net out? u'll notice the difference.... icon_idea.gif

Eh? New MG Zeta? What is unit 3? Green Divers? Or the custom coloured ones? unsure.gif

Zeta just came out with the ver2.0 so any new releases should be a re-colored one whistling.gif Maybe it's the same case with the 2 F91s which were released within a narrow time period.

Zaku ver2.0 should be damn sexy with loads of improvements over the predecessor...
