I'm thinkin of gettin a strike freedom soon. I need some advice/ answers

1. What's the main difference between MG and HG? (in terms of design)
2. Do i have to do any painting/spraying on MG/HG?
3. Is the price difference worth it?
4. What is the price range?
5. Where can I get it? (for cheap biggrin.gif)
6. Will MG/HG be easily transferable? (as in easy to move from one place to another. Eg. I'm travelling from KL to Singapore and would like to bring it along)
7. Any other advices?
8. Any other interesting models?

Thx biggrin.gif

Edit : Adding more questions

9. Any maintainance required?
10. Which looks better? MG/HG?

Okay another question~!!
I've seen online shops selling MG Freedom with a note saying
"Paint job required" or something like that....

What does it mean? Do i have to paint the whole thing or just minor touch ups (dirt/damage marks/etc)?

Also, can give me a comprehensive guide on HG/PG/MG/UC/etc?? and their differences?
Thx biggrin.gif

Edit :
I remember reading somewhere that I might have to "outline" some parts with a black marker. Is this true?

Also, is it HARD to assemble the models?]

Edit2 : Nvm, prob/questions answered.
thx boyarque

ARGH!!! confused and lost....
I'm about to buy my first gundam kit but I'm stuck in the middle between a Hi-nu and Strike Freedom T_T......

Also.... can anyone give me a photo (not the ones from dalong.net) of the gundam models that can give me and idea of how big the models actually are?
Eg. A picture of it with a newspaper/handphone/mineral water bottle?

Btw, how long did it took you guys to finish up your model? biggrin.gif

Hrmmmm regarding hi-nu/strike freedom....
I think i'll just get both (if i have the cash =.=)....
For now, Hi-nu first! biggrin.gif

1 thing i didnt like about the hi-nu......
Not enough weapons. T_T

Strike freedom has alot of artillery and the wings look cooler.
Hi-nu is more flexible and is able to do more poses than SF (from what i see in dalong)

Edit again: ~~

Can you guys gimme a list of things needed to assemble the models?
I mind as well get them while waiting for the model to arrive biggrin.gif

I've decided not to get both =p
I saw something else that interest me (not gundam related)

Thus for now I'll be getting a mg hinu and sd sf in march.
1~2 weeks more to go.... the excitement is killing me biggrin.gif...

Hinu costs 7000yen. (I think it's yen according to dalong)
After conversion it's around RM200.

I'm sure everyone wants to ask edison this question....

Will there be enough Hi-Nu's for everyone?

(".)

And... i just saw the size of the METEOR unit =.=....
It's so small my dog can fit the whole thing in its mouth! I was expecting it to be almost as big as dendrobium...

oh yea... Denrobium is FREAKIN HUGE!!! @@

Is it possible to apply finishers to a model without painting them/ coating them with anything else? As in.. applying the finisher on the raw plastic parts itself.

Anyone tried it? How's the result?

So basicaly undergate is good cuz when the parts are fitted together, the cut marks cant be seen right?
But even if usingthe side gate, the marks can be fixed with some painting right?

Talkin about stands....
The hi-nu's stand is by far the most unique i've seen (i just started entering the world of gunpla)

Then again, notice the hole in the middle? Bandai cutting costs....
