Will be going to Korea for 2 weeks for travel. As someone who doesn't really like Korean food except their fried chicken and ramyeon. What do you guys/girls mostly eat in there?
*
Well other than fast food stores, plenty of western food and japanese restaurants too.

hmm i mean the popular oneĀ  tongue.gif

Like in bangkok the popular ones are 7-e & family mart.

That's a rather strange question... they're all similar and can also be different in some food choice... but very few people will say one is "best"...
*
agree. its like KK, 99 Speedmart, 7Eleven. Even here, I honestly dont know how to define which is the best.

like the term "convenience store", whenever you think you need something, just go to the one nearest to you, as long its most convenient to you.

Guys...will be going to Seoul on March 2018..can anyone share thoughts on a decent hotel in Myeong-dong? We are travelling in 5 adults and 1 2yo kid. I think we need 2 family rooms for this, so that we can have 2 bathrooms and save time.

Had a look on HOTEL PJ, a room of 3 costs RM400/day, which fits my budget. Anyone mind sharing your thought on this? Or with a better suggestion on selecting hotel there? Appreciate your help !!

Thanks!
*
stayed here 3 years ago, and will be going back and stay there again next month.

for me i think its quite economy but everything is very comfortable.

Hello guys, I've booked 4pax through airbnb for a trip to Seoul during first week of March.
I know it's gonna be chilly there but how many coats should I pack even?
I will be staying in gangnam.

Plus now efficient will it be if we were to travel to Busan for a day trip? TO think that the KTX ticket is expensive, it doesn't sound promising.
*
March is already spring. U don't really need winter clothing, maybe just a layer of jacket will do, u can wear thicker inner wear if u are sensitive to cold.

How many up to you la..if u don mind wearing the same one everyday.

Busan for a day, IMPOSSIBLE..first, Busan itself is so huge that u might want to spend at least 4-6 days to explore places around. second, yes the price is expensive. third, to and fro the journey gonna take u at least 6 hours already.

Not sure if it is just me, I also went end of Dec and I regretted wasting money on winter boots, in fact, most of the locals are just wearing normal walking shoe, maybe because it wasn't snowing much when I was there. The coldness doesn't matter much, a waterproof winter shoe might only be handy if it is snowing or raining, to prevent your shoe from getting wet or causes slippery
*
yup. leg is fine, most importantly have a proper thick jacket, and sufficient cover for your neck..get a glove or mask too if u wan.

Hi,
Anybody here came back from Seoul, Korea recently? How's is the immigration check?
-coz I heard the immigration is strict and a lot of Malaysian cannot enter and is sent back. This is due to the illegal vegetable picker (highlighted in the Star newspaper last week).

Thanks
*
i just came back yesterday. no issue as long as your background is clear, they have no reason to restrict u from going in the country.

Hi all,
For 2 person travel in Jeju, is it recommended to take a bus or to self drive when travel around?
*
Of coz its self drive..Take a bus gonna be a super tiring ride. and not all the places are accessible by bus.

Or else you can hire a private driver, might be a lil pricey, but at least u no need to worry too much..

Last time we got a private driver, from west to east already took slightly 1 hour plus driving distance. let's not say for bus.
