those 3 that u said won't even be enough for the cold of tokyo
better be very prepared than under-prepared
scarf and glove are a must(which is the mistake i did)
*
Not yet at Tokyo, but now at Kyoto and it's damn cold ( 2 degrees ), forecast last week was off because these few days suddenly snow again.
I can tahan body and leg cold, kinda enjoy in fact but my hands are freezing like no tomorrow. Lucky I brought waterproof boots so my feet are fine.
Time to utilize those heat pad ( hand warmer )

when your feet and hands are cold
the whole body also cold
so better be well prepared and bring something thick rather than multiple jacket

Any tips for kyushu island.
Visiting hirado, sasebo, nagasaki, Obama, kumamoto, kuruokawa, yufuin, beppu and fukoaka next week

You should visit Jigoku Meguri - which translates to something like "Hells of Beppul'. You can't actually go in them but they are cool to take a look around and have funny names. As the name suggests, they are in Beppu. They're not so expensive to visit, around 400 yen each or the whole lot for 2000 yen.

There are maps and pictures here:

Enter the hell, feel like heaven (Beppu hot springs)

Don't necessarily NEED to have free parking geh. i stayed in one of the route inns (think susukino one) and it was ¥1000/day multi entry, in the overall cost of hotel and holiday etc is OK ba.
