Guys need help, anyone been to kawaguchiko to gora ropeway station ?

I search on internet, the fastest route i can find is

Kawaguchiko station -> gotemba premium outlet (more bus here) -> gora station

Is that the best route ? Any other direct public transport that I can reach gora instead of stopping other places ?

Guys for temp in Tokyo and Hokkaido in April

I pressume wind breaker for tokyo should be enough ? Last time did the same for my Korea spring .....

How bout Hokkaido ? It varies from 3 to 11 and sometimes snow too. Do I need to buy winter clothes here or jus buy at Japan ? As aldy off season there should be cheaper right ?

Some foldable bag RM87
and backpack RM40
Winter boot RM93
Long john 3 layer cashmere wool RM155

Is RM2k return Tokyo considered a cheap price? What is the cheapest one can get from both Airasia (after allowing for luggage) and MAS?
*
just take AA luggage for additional 200 for each way for 20kg , u can roughly estimate

Hi Ladies,

Just a question to those ladies who have experienced the onsen in Noboribetsu. I just booked a hotel in Noboribetsu for the CNY eve, and my 2 teen daughters found out from their classmates that all have to be naked (only a piece of hand towel allowed) in the public female onsen.

Both of them are very uncomfortable and shy now .... May I ask, is  that the real situation for all public onsen in Japan?
*
Hahaha having onsen in a public super big pool is a kind of lifetime experience

Why shy, not like tats guy there, all r same gender wat

And they wouldn't properly go look at Ur daughter too, last time all Japanese guy within the same onsen with me just enjoying their own private time closing their eyes to relax, is more like me tat busy Body look here look there, Somemore onsen u can only enjoy less than 10mins, easy come and go kind of thing

No worry lah

Hi all .....

Thanks all for the onsen inputs.....

Lucas,, my daughters will take your splendid suggestion .... they will doing the 'mid-night attack' to the onsen ..... at least they can complete their  Noboribetsu chapter --- BE THERE DONE THAT.

Once again .... thanks all and have a great weekend
*
well don't depends too much on the timing, my experience tat onsen do close at early before Midnight, and sometimes, I went there for last onsen before sleep and still some people inside

My friend and his family had a bad experience in Kyoto. They were not  welcomed to a few restaurants around Gion area. The excuses were bcoz they are fully booked even though some are practically empty at 6.00 - 7.00 pm. The only reason I could think of is maybe they thought that my friend group is from China... anybody experienced this before?
*
Nope

Face problem maybe

Or the Japanese just keep the empty for those reserve , nothing can say about this , purely bad luck

first, most japanese not working in service industry and they don't talk to stranger especially foreigners

second, japanese racist only towards yellow/black/brown gaijin, not white gaijin

third, there is misconception in movie/drama... their culture is respectful type, the truth is they only respect ppl that hv higher seniority than them otherwise they r generally rude
*
Well so far, my personal experience do tell me otherwise , but I am only there for a week.....maybe u r right

Going again in April , hope to get a good exp ....

Holy shit. I just did the calculations for a 21 day trip from Osaka-kyoto-tokyo

2100 for rail pass.
200 per pax for accommodation air bnb (2 of us. 200 myr per night)
flight from Kuching to KL (round) 500
flight from kl to Osaka (round) 1800
250 myr per day per pax = 5000

total up spending 11k for 21 days itinerary.

am planning a proposal there. she can't afford it. I can't pay for her
*
can save on rail pass

flight frm kl to osaka should find cheaper one

rm500 per day for expenses for 2 pax, abit on the high side, can lower abit
