I more towards oly than pana but would like know the G85. On par with em5 Mk2?

Right now I don't have any body left 2 lenses only. 17mm 1.8 and 25mm 1.4


You can't go wrong with pana 20mm f1.7. That is legendary lens during that time when mft not much lenses to choose.

On par? More like over it. Plus you don't have to put more money to buy handgrip for the G85

Yep, and Dual IS 2 also. Works together with Panasonic lenses IS also.

My 100-400mm at 400mm is still steady af when used with the G85

sent my em5 mark ii to oly service center yesterday because of the loose back dial issue.
hoping to get it back before the upcoming macro outing this weekend T__T

You won't go wrong with either. If you must choose one only, personally I would go for the 20/1,7 coz it's much much sharper. I am still keeping a 20/1,7. Basically as a backup lens if I want small setup. I am ok with it's AF, with newer bodies it's faster than previous older bodies. Otherwise turn on focus peaking and do MF all the time that's what I do nowadays with my Oly 12/2,0 using the center MF ring, it acts like a loading barrel (just like loading a pump gun), push down towards camera body and your in MF mode and push outward it's immediately on AF mode. I love this feature..how I wish all other lenses are made this way haha..

nowadays hardly see a good used 1.

even got also expensive. used to be in rm650 range for an used 1.

i go another way...2 bodies + 2 lens + 2 speedlites. EP3 + 14mm and EPL5 + 45mm

How much is the 20mm 1.7 going for? Used 25mm 1.4 lenses are selling pretty low (about rm1.8k before nego) right now

nowadays ppl tend to go with 25mm 1.4 or 15mm 1.7

Speaking of which.. The 15mm 1.7 also selling quite reasonable, about rm1.9k (or RM1.7k I forgot) new.

Haven't seen a used 15mm on sale yet tho

20mm not worth spending more than 1.2k to get imo.
