Have to study the specs of the listed compatible bodies against gx8's to see if that's the case【Micro Four Thirds】Olympus & Panasonic Thread V8, OM System OM-3 Arriving In Malaysia 2025

QUOTE(mave222 @ May 5 2017, 01:53 PM) QUOTE(BOTAK_WAI @ May 5 2017, 04:14 PM) The mFT Sigma 60mm f2.8 art lens is a very sharp lens. Not expensive, I got it for less than rm700 about 1.5years ago.In my short stint with the lens I found it easy to use. AF isn't particularly fast. But some shots from this lens are quite sharp, very nice bokeh too if your close enough. Very nice for half body shots. Don't forget its a 120mm on m4/3 bodies making it a short telephoto. The only thing I don't like is the main body, the large smooth part made of aluminium that scratches like crazy. I sold it off later not because of this but due to not using the lens enough to justify keeping it. I suggest if you intend to buy this lens, which I recommend, try find a way to make a mod to protect the large smooth aluminium surface. This post has been edited by bobds78: May 6 2017, 10:33 AM |

QUOTE(ZechMerquise @ May 8 2017, 10:07 AM) you asking for a camera around the same price range with around the same specs? It's now being sold at around .. RM2.7k? (sos: http://www.lazada.com.my/official-1-years-...y-5770340.html)er.. Panasonic GF9? shoots 4k vids, 16MP no low pass filter sensor and selling for only like RM2399 RRP, so you might be able to get one cheaper than that Olympus bodies are kinda overpriced already IMO but hey if you have money to spend then yeah their bodies look more sexy than Panasonic's This post has been edited by incubus_skj: May 8 2017, 10:14 AM |

QUOTE(ZechMerquise @ May 8 2017, 10:56 AM) ah! okI can't think of anything with IBIS around 2.7k though. The nearest Panasonics with IBIS (Dual IS) are RM3.2k (GX85) and RM3.5k~ (G85 - Dual IS 2) with that price Olympus has the Olympus EM5 mk2 also d [EDIT] oh wait the GX85 (body only) now only sells for RM2.5k. Shoots 4k video and has Dual IS (5-axis in-body, 2-axis lens) http://www.lazada.com.my/catalog/?q=Panasonic+Lumix+DMC-GX85 This post has been edited by incubus_skj: May 8 2017, 11:07 AM |

Sorry for asking. My cousin need help to send his panasonic 7-14mm and 14-42mm lens. Both caught some healthy fungus. I already told him many times for 2 years to store in dry cabinet (RM300 oni).
He afraid to send to some local shop because afraid might wear off the coating. He prefer to send back to Panasonic for the repair. |
