I asked their fb page just now and got a replied it was still available about an hour ago . So I made a purchase just now, but no indication/notification telling me I'm qualified for the free gifts.
*
Yup that's what I got too, just the order page detailing the item, price and receivers address, even in their order confirmation email it wasn't mentioned. Well I guess that's added bonus if those filters are included in the final package. Kind of hoping here sweat.gif

i tot gx8 same hotshoe with lx100? no?
*
I thought so too but gx8 isn't in the stated list of compatible bodies. ranting.gif

QUOTE(BOTAK_WAI @ May 3 2017, 08:55 PM)
i am using godox tt560 manual flash...not bad.

this tt350 is a good alternative to nissin i40. but tt350 gn number a bit weak la...spec figure measured at 105mm.

mk320 still good for its compact size, saw philipcs test shots, mk320 white balance not as good as i40.
*
Hopefully this tt350o has been improved. I agree though that a GN36 rating is a little weak but for general everyday shooting it should be sufficient. Maybe you should keep that tt560 biggrin.gif

maybe they didn't list all the model.
*
Have to study the specs of the listed compatible bodies against gx8's to see if that's the case

Anyone used sigma 60mm f2.8 before?

i used 19mm before only

The mFT Sigma 60mm f2.8 art lens is a very sharp lens. Not expensive, I got it for less than rm700 about 1.5years ago.

In my short stint with the lens I found it easy to use. AF isn't particularly fast. But some shots from this lens are quite sharp, very nice bokeh too if your close enough. Very nice for half body shots. Don't forget its a 120mm on m4/3 bodies making it a short telephoto. The only thing I don't like is the main body, the large smooth part made of aluminium that scratches like crazy. I sold it off later not because of this but due to not using the lens enough to justify keeping it. I suggest if you intend to buy this lens, which I recommend, try find a way to make a mod to protect the large smooth aluminium surface.

Send back to Japan?  rclxub.gif . Rather then send to Pana any suggestion maybe a good shop to clear the fungus.
*
I had problem with an olympus 14-42 II lens some 3 years ago not fungus anyway but a broken cable, i sent it in to Olympus Malaysia and they fixed it. No charge since it's still under warranty. I am sure their technicians should be able to handle fungus as well.

A bigger eyecup:-

Modding a super cheap DVR cam hood with the same 46mm filter thread for the Oly 12/2.0, instead of the much expensive one from olympus:-

Modding a piece of foam to act as windbreaker for the sound recording port (have yet to test this out in the real world situation and if this doesn't work as hoped I will try mod a deadcat thumbsup.gif

the hood double the lens size laugh.gif

It does seems so from the photo but it isn't any bigger than the original metallic olympus hood and I can still make it smaller in fact, but it looks a kind of cool tongue.gif Or alternatively find a smaller inconspicuous hood biggrin.gif

There is always a JJC version which cost less than the original.
*
Agreed, the JJC version is 1/3 the price of the Olympus version but still not cheap at +/-us$30. The hood I got from taobao is so cheap i didn't bother to remember he he thumbsup.gif

my em5 mode dial, at P and A mode, when touch a bit, it will jump from P to A vice versa

not big deal, but I wonder if I anyone had same problem? how much to fix?
*
QUOTE(Someonesim @ Jun 19 2017, 02:44 PM)
Possibly it's the infamous mode dial cap loose/off. Does it happen only between these 2 mode ?
*
That happened to my EM5 too, at the time I had it. Simple fix, i just take off the cap and remember the position, put a small drop of super glue and put the cap back. Press it for a few moments and it's done! Try it at your own risk though he he devil.gif

if you wan to get a kit lens go for the Pana, they are more durable.
*
+1 here. Been using both Oly and Pana lenses since 2009 and it seems the Pana has better built quality and more durable and they don't get broken in my own experience. However, Oly better quality lenses like the pro lines have much better built quality.

The suggested Oly 12-40 or Pana 12-35 is a good starting choice if you are not into any particular category of shoots. They will be be good as a walk-around or general purpose lens. If you want better coverage you can consider those 14-140 or similar units.
