bro, how's your experience on dual i.s and dfd so far?
*
I didn't have the time to do a real test simply becoz I didn't have the right lens to do it, the 12-32 I have does gives a lower shutter speed and better iso control but that's about it however, it would be interesting to see if how it performs on a real bazooka like the 100-400 (incubus_skj: maybe he can test this out for us?) I am really interested to find out if 100-400 is coupled with the gx8.

As from Youtube videos, the combo is truly amazing, see the video here:

gx8 + 100-400

okay so here's the test shots i've done with the 100-400 on my new G85 body.

The Dual IS of this combo was quite useful, as the pics were taken at handheld.

To show you the distance of the pics, here's the full view of where i'm shooting from (shot with my phone):-

Wow, sharp! The best part is the use of ISO, back then I can barely go through ISO 2000, the noise would be obvious already. Nice share!

That lens sure is poison, so desirable but not within my budget hahaha laugh.gif

Guys, what's the best price one could get for a 12-60mm lens in Malaysia?

And has anyone spotted a Samyang Rokinon 7.5mm lens here?

I'm interested to buy both these lenses.

Do let me know, thanks smile.gif

To me, you can finally use 6400 ISO on the G85. That's waaay higher than my previous maximum acceptance at 1600 ISO on my old E-M5's

Incubus, what sort of tripod do you use for the G85 anyway?

Is there any good mobile and not too heavy tripod for a G85? This G85 is double the weight of my GX1, just realised that, haha! biggrin.gif

Camera grips are personal coz if you have a large hand, holding a small m4/3 camera isn't easy. I had a camera grip on my em5 coz the original grip is way too small for a comfortable and steady grip but coming to gx8, the grip is large enough so a grip accessory isn't necessary. But of course putting on a camera grip sometimes make the camera look very cool thumbup.gif I say why not thumbsup.gif

I had to use grips on my old E-M5's because the heavier lens (like the 35-100mm or even the 75mm) will make it very difficult to hold the camera...

I'm considering MeFOTO, looks very compact and lightweight but very stable and reliable.

Don't know which to decide though, Backpacker is great, but the GlobeTrotter Air is so tempting as well @_@
