always keep a compact camera system as your backup.
i dun think other mirrorless system can give you that compactness.
besides m43 lenses are sharp at wide aperture which i like.
for example the 14-42mm f3.5-f5.6 kit lens are already sharp at f4.
very few other lens systems can give you that.
also i can carry a long telephoto at half the size and weight compared to other systems because of the 2x crop factor.

I wanted an AF native lens for my GX8. The Laowa 7.5/f2 that I owned is a fully MF lens and I find that it's not easy to get a sharp shot when hand-holding for selfie, my face is not in focus most of the time, tough I have tried a couple tricks. So an AF lens will surely help a lot in selfie.

It certainly won't be cheap lor. What's interesting are ff A7 bodies on the cheap as we move along.
