Delicious Olympus 45mm f1.2 PRO
the sharpness even at wide open, the rich bokeh, and how it render image wub.gif

Dont have right mood to shoot with it. I do think this lens worth the high price tag.

Thanks!  thumbup.gif  thumbup.gif
maybe the light bokeh oblong because they use downlights (see the 3rd pic where her face all shadowy zzz) and it was taken at our eye-level angle
*
It would be perfect to have Oly 25mm f1.2 PRO lens to compare rclxms.gif sure will be trending if post to dpreview laugh.gif

That size, rather get A7 series.

still waiting for more pictures from your wide angle lens.
maybe we should organize a shoot out between 8mm F4 SLR magic vs Laowa 7.5mm f2 or olympus/panasonic wide angle lens just for fun.
anyone?
*
The 8mm SLR magic, not as good as laowa, wont bother compare to Oly 7-14 pro laugh.gif
I got it since it's super cheap @ B&H promo, so just grab it for if UWA needs.

i miss the kit lens.
small, light, 14-44mm focal range useful for everyday use, damn sharp starting at f4 compared to other kit lens from brands and it auto focus!  cry.gif
*
Get a 12-50 then, useful range + macro, pre-loved quite cheap.

QUOTE(incubus_skj @ Nov 23 2017, 05:00 PM)
Try the PanaLeica 12-60mm la brows.gif

Too bad I already have both the 12-35 and 35-100 2.8 liao, and I don't even use them often
*
Did you compare 12-60 to 12-35 ? My friend recently got GX8 body + kit lens, so I'm trying to poison him on one of these two whistling.gif

from my experience with 3rd party battery - no matter the brand, its always 80% capacity vs original.
*
My China battery for em5/em1 only have 50-60% capacity sweat.gif

QUOTE(N33d @ Dec 15 2017, 02:18 PM)
how about the panny counterpart? 12-35mm f/2.8? that lens like not popular
*
Panaleica 12-60 could be good alternative at slightly higher price tag.

cry.gif duno how to decide, tmr i go check harvey norman. Worry to invest the lens that not suitable me
*
Or just get Olympus 12-100 then, one lens to tabao all. Yes it's f4 but for me no issue, because it's sharp at f4 wide open.

considered very ok liao coz any better means need a gimbal d

No, stand on grass field, both hand on camera + lens. I think the weight of 40-150 pro + EC14 helps.

Hmm okay... Where can I get cheaper price to buy the lens? Usually which one sells cheaper? Online shoping sites (e.g. Lazada) or camera shops?
*
Mostly lazada those are cheaper, you can use discount coupon also. Camera shop only when promo, or if you're good at bargaining laugh.gif

Hi guys, my em5 shutter stucked since yesterday. I also cant view the picture taken. Its like the camera dead. Is it normal for camera that have stucked shutter to behave that way. I thought i still can view the file even the shutter stucked. I read somewhere here the cost of replacement is around 4++. Is it worth to get a replacement?
*
Send to Olympus service center, ask them to check and quote price first. Possibly just stuck and require maintenance.
I once sent my flash and thought will need to pay few hundred, but they master reset the flash and settle, didnt even charge me.

Each case varies thou biggrin.gif

another tips.
buy suitable gloves.
get thick gloves and you wont be able to click the shutter button or touch the screen to take a shot.
*
Buy 2 gloves biggrin.gif
I bought 2 when go Japan during Feb, one thick winter type, and another fall/winter that's compatible to touchscreen. Latter are thinner and can use on touchscreen, easier on camera button/dial also.
