Help! Trying 4K photo and post focus mode on gf9. works only when set ISO to auto?
*
Not sure about the GF9, but I tried using my G85 and they work just OK with manual ISO

I set my camera to aperture priority if that helps

hi guys,

for those using the oly 12-40mm f2.8, are u guys using any lens protector? thinking of buying the oly pro protective filter, but it's at rm220. dang

i might be getting few batteries + lens filter + extra memory card + a bag from lowepro (havent decide which model) and lens cleaning kit (need recommendation) and *maybe* a card reader to speed up transfer to my phone on the go
*
QUOTE(incubus_skj @ Aug 29 2017, 10:38 AM)
i got some filters on (nearly) all my lenses so it's easier for me when i'm cleaning them, no need to scared about scratches and dust on the lens itself.
*
Me get all my lenses slapped on with a multi-coated uv filter soonest I got the lens in my hands, from day 1! No need to worry about scratches or dusts from day 1! I always go for the slimmest I can find.

Yeah that's the intention, but just couldn't part my hands with 5k+ ranting.gif so for the time being, just putting the lens in my ebay shopping cart, seems prices has dropped some 500rm+ already, good sign he he tongue.gif I will wait it out, that's why I want use the 100-300 to shoot some wild ducks first. Actually I have a MF lens capable of taking good sharp photos but doesn't have the reach, just in case.

So you own one? The 100-400? Any photo samples please share here boss.

WoW! Damn sharp this baby, such a small lens yet so capable of taking such great photos at a distance, and it works at dual IS with all the newer G series bodies so cool thumbup.gif

At that size, no other lens in the m4/3 arsenal can beat it liao thumbsup.gif

no, you can choose to either use the Lens IS or your Olympus Body IS. Last time Olympus Body IS > Panasonic Lens IS, now... I don't know already haha

actually, not only lenses.. but body-wise (not counting the EM1mk2), the Panasonic G85 and GX80 are actually more worth it in terms of functionality and features compared to its usually overpriced Olympus counterparts.

However, Olympus bodies win by looks by a loooong mile. so it depends if you want a sexy body while shooting or just "can shoot enough liao la" like me haha

Emmmm no

The 14mm is an F2.5, I'm referring to the Panasonic Leica DG Summilux 15mm f1.7
*
Ok ok
That's a 20mm f1.7 which I like bcos very flat but not wide enough

14mm f1.7 too expensive and not flat enough for me but should be super fantastic quality wise
