Agree with buying directly from a private seller. Before I bought mine first hand, I was monitoring the used car market for maybe 6 months ++. I wanted a good second hand 1.0 but for some reason, don't know if it's my luck or just the ethics of used car dealers, all the Fiesta Ecoboost had the mileage tampered with by the dealer, conditions lied about etc.
In the end, said eff it and just bought new.
Nice, how long have you had the car?

Ps I was told by ford sales agent to put the gear into neutral whenever the car is stationary, like at the traffic lights or just when waiting to turn into a road. He says it'll help to preserve the clutch longer.
Would that really help? It's kinda annoying and troublesome to keep switching between gears whenever I'm stationary. Anyone of you practise this?
I used to believe that, but nowadays don't really care.
Logically when you keep you feet on the brake pedal the clutch will disengage anyway.
I've tried holding the car with the footbrakes and shift from N to D......the car didn't squat and the RPM didn't drop (If you've driven a MT car, that's what that would happen when you hold the footbrakes and half release the clutch pedal). So I'm pretty sure the clutch is completely disengaged when the footbrake is pressed.
But obviously you need to keep your brake pedal pressed if you stay in D. If you wanna tarik handbrake, make sure you're in N or P.
