Hi all,
Recently my fiesta having an issue at gearbox. The gear change is harsh and delayed. Went to third party workshop to check, recommended to change both shift forks, clutch kit and bearings. I was quoted about 4.5k including workmanship. Is the price reasonable?

I have a thought to bring it to ford to get another quotation as for comparison.

Thank you.

Got one ex SDAC staff who worked as mechanic at Ford SC. He opened his own workshop at his house at Penang. I use to visit him to service my car.

I have this 3 lights as well, may I know what was your issue in the end?

Wow, that was a few years back...3 years + ? If I remember correctly, SDAC diagnosed it as an ABS Module failure. Didn't fix it until the day I sold off the car sweat.gif

No, Penaga happy.gif

Anyhow managed to replace mine at another place, nearby my home. A bit expensive from first shop, but workmanship is good and fast. They also helped to check my engine condition.

Total spent for dual clutch kit, clutch fork A and B, bearing kit plus workmanship is 5,320.00. Totally happy now as my car run smooth again haha.

Thinking to change to new sets of rims, what width is nice? 6.5JJ or 7JJ?
