from what i read so far all DCT systems have the same problem.
i guess its not a problem but a common inherent behaviour of DCT.

The one Renault clio I think is using doesn't have such issue. Afaik they're using the same gearbox/dry clutch as ours.

my friend just bought a Fiesta....he find the RPM is rather high although didn't accelerate much...any specialist that can recommend for a ECU check?

If RPM increase with no acceleration, possibly is clutch slipping. If that's the case it's either clutchpack or TCM that needs replacement.

Send it to Ford SC to have it checked, and query about the 7 yr warranty for clutchpack and 10 yr warranty for TCM.

usually this happens when the clutch is slipping or the TCM doesn't know to change gear. Supposedly we have 7 years clutchpack warranty and 10 years TCM warranty. If the car is "modded", don't ask about it and don't talk about it. If they ask you to pay for it, can try Al-Isra at Kajang / Bengkel Excellent Auto at Subang / BUG Auto at Cheras, Malay/Indian/Chinese owner respectively lol
