Currently using Petronas Syntium 5w30, thinking of using maybe pennzoil or liqui moly or maybe use back petronas.

For owners of FoFi Ecoboost, do you guys feel any difference between Ron 95 and Ron 97? Still on my second tank now and am wondering if I should pump in Ron 97 instead. Will it make a difference, considering the engine's only 1000cc?

This engine is not tuned for Ron 97, Ron 95 works perfectly fine. Ron 97 is a waste of money as long as the engine is stock. However you may still get slightly better response on Ron 97, this is due to performance additives to premiums fuel. Since each Company has it's own additive, performance varies. In my experiment I found BHP to be best. There is no harm in using Ron 97. If the engine is tuned for Ron97 then you'll get far better performance.

Changing water pump or belts is a simple process. Dose not need any electronic confg. or updates. But best to change any item with mechanic who is familiar with this engine.
