Got a member here who changed his belt as 120k km. It was already badly cracked.

Basically anything over 100k km you'll have to be very careful.

disclaimer : only apply to non-ecoboost models

Correct bro. Better do outside. Price will be slightly more cheaper.

BTW when doing service outside, what brand of oils u guys use? Kindly advise for this.

For owners of FoFi Ecoboost, do you guys feel any difference between Ron 95 and Ron 97? Still on my second tank now and am wondering if I should pump in Ron 97 instead. Will it make a difference, considering the engine's only 1000cc?

The size of engine does not matter. This engine is not tuned for Ron 97, Ron 95 works perfectly fine. Ron 97 is a waste of money as long as the engine is stock.

However you may still get slightly better response on Ron 97, this is due to performance additives to premiums fuel. Since each Company has it's own additive, performance varies. In my experiment I found BHP to be best. There is no harm in using Ron 97. If the engine is tuned for Ron97 then you'll get far better performance.

Changing water pump or belts is a simple process. Dose not need any electronic confg. or updates. But best to change any item with mechanic who is familiar with this engine.
