Go do outside if you're in klang valley got specialist can do. Cost rm1k like that. Change timing belt, aux belt, tensioner.

Here is comparison of the jazz hybrid (2017) and fiesta (2010)

Build Quality and all - Fiesta beats hands down. Capless Fuel entry , superb seats , good speakers

Handling and Ride - Okay this is mixed , on EV mode - Jazz wins hands down. It's super quiet , you can't hear a single thing , however on high speed cornering - Fiesta beats hands down. The fiesta handles corners very very well

Thanks for the review.

Between Jazz Hybrid and Mazda2, which do you think would satisfy someone coming from a Fiesta?

Mazda2 I would say , it still packs the punch. I've to give credits to Mazda

The interior is superb , you get all the nice features like LED headlights (The new mazda 2 has it) and a nice driver centric console just like fiesta. It's a driver's car . Plus Mazda's sound system on M2 sounds way better compared to Jazz Hybrid

Plus the brakes are all around disc brakes and the transmission on Mazda is very good IMHO. Plus the idle start-stop is a bonus on fuel saving especially start/stop traffic

The Jazz Hybrid is meant for eco warriors , the sports hybrid is more of a marketing gimmick , yes the electric motor works like a turo - this is how it works

0-60km/h - 1.8L NA engine - muahhahahaa , the electric motor provides instant torque
70-90km/h - 1.5L NA engine - again not too bad - motor is assisting
90km/h - 1.4L engine with a dead battery that is being lugged around. At higher speeds , the engine can't keep up with the demand , plus its atkinson engine (but I am not sure how mazda still gives you the umph with their SkyActive which uses atkinson cycle as well)

The electric motor/battery only works speeds up to 90km/h , beyond that its all engine power and the engine isn't something good as well

Why bro - planning to sell Fiesta and get a Mazda ?

Thanks

Do they charge a reasonable price?

What happens to the warranty then?

Anyone did timing belt change with them before?

thanks for the honest review.
most honda/toyota owners will claim their car the best cannot compare blah..blah...blah.

Mazda skyactive gives better punch because of the higher engine compression 13:1 / 14:1 compared to jazz 10.1:1 / fiesta 11:1.

BTW turbo systems increases the engine compression ratio so oooomph!
